Display Washed Out
on September 7, 2019

They took away the adaptive display setting and the result is a washed out display. No deep blacks no vivid colors even when set to vivid. My galaxy tab S4 running the same video side by side is a huge noticeable difference. My tab S4 is so so much better. This is with Video enhancement on and set to Vivid in the display setting, videos look washed out/ hazy as compared with my Note 9 and Tab S4. I am very very disappointed!!! I wished I would have kept my Note 9, it had a far superior display. I'm returning this for a note 9 or switching to the next pixel phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Micro-Scratches on the Screen after one month

This is great phone. Super fast and lighter than Note 9. But something wrong with its screen and gorrilla glass 6. After just a month of use, I got micro scratches on the screen; this never happened on my note 9. and I do not use the screen protector on either Note 9 or 10 plus. Don't buy this phone if you have note 9, wait for some more durable screen next year.

Defective. Won't turn on after 1st full discharge

8 days old and it won't turn on after the 1st time I fully discharged the battery. Used the original charger, other chargers, left plugged in over night. Tried the volume down and power button trick to simulate pulling the battery. I'm very disappointed.

Long time Note fan, finally done

Let me start by saying that i have always loved the Note series. I have owned every note to date, but this latest one I simply do not like. The biggest issue is the lack of an Aux jack. That is a deal breaker for me. All the other things, I probably would just deal with IF there were a phone jack. Such as curved screen (i hate curved screens). The screen goes too far to the edge of the phone so that phone cases cant get a firm hold on it. The camera inside the screen bothers me. That's really all I can complain about. It's my fault, I should have researched this phone before I bought it. The note used to be such a fantastic phone, really on top of the competition by far, but I guess all good things must come to an end...

Waste of wait and time

Coming from a Samsung 8, this phone is ridiculously disappointing. There is no AUX port and this giant phone could spare the space to have one. The ear buds that came as a bonus with the phone when purchased are horrible in quality. The call quality is garbage and operating them are worse. I don't feel like tapping myself in the eardrum is the way to change music and its complicated answering the phone. Too many taps. The corded earphones that come with the phone are just as terrible. The sound quality on them had me revert back to my wireless Beats and that should not happen when my Note 10 + came with 2 different sets of listening devices.

My Note 10+ 5G is awful. Will start application downloads to 99 or 100% but never install. At times, I've had 55 downloads pending. This is on cellular or WiFi. I have to put the device in Safe Mode to get apps to download. Do a FDR, yup, and still continues. Now, I missed a day of incoming SMS (but could send). May be better off letting it explode. Should have waited for a new Pixel instead of this. Likely to be my last Samsung ever.
