I took quite a while to learn to use this machine but now. I think it is great. Good idea to warm cup you are going to use first.

The reservoir is small. We are only two people and it is being filled way too much. It should have a larger capacity or the option of hooking to a household source . I do like the option of all the coffee types. I recently used the tablets for removing coffee oil. Next day the coffee water light was blinking. Way under the 5000 cups you advertised. Had to replace the aqua clean filter. Not impressed.

First few coffees are too watery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this espresso machine complimentary from philipshomeliving. Such a generous gift! This is my first fully automatic espresso machine! I have read some reviews before using it. And some are true. My first espresso was so watery… it got me disappointed a bit at first But then i read more and figured out a lot of people experiencing same issues So i got a big bag of beans and run like 25 coffees and did see a bit improvement It is still a trick for me though I like my espresso rich, with a lot of crema on top And so far this machine is producing a coffee that is mot strong and rich yet I will be playing more with settings and hope to see that crema soon!

Watery espresso

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine has so much potential but I just cannot fine tune it enough. The espresso is pretty watery even after adjusting the grind, trying dark roast beans, and running 20+ shots to let the machine adjust. The hot latte macchiato has tasted pretty good but otherwise I haven’t had success. There definitely could be better instructions and there needs to be a way to adjust either how much water or how fast the water runs through the machine (there are 3 cup sizes that affect the amount of water but even the lowest size isn’t a small enough amount). Overall pretty disappointed in the machine. Gifted by Phillips
