If the strainer could have been disassembled, the pulp trapped in the middle could have been rinsed out but it is two filters with space between.

I'm extremely happy with my Cuisinart Pulp Control Citrus Juicer. It really gets every bit of juice out of the oranges and lemons I use it for. Especially when using the cover for that final spin. The pulp control feature is also nice for adjusting the amount of pulp for in each glass for the varying tastes in our family.

I bought this as a first juicer and someone who juices citrus fruit occasionally for drinks. I was between this one and the Breville. I must say that I am so glad I chose this juicer. The price point does not reflect the capabilities of the product and saved me quite a bit in the long run. The top pieces come apart and can be washed in a dishwasher, making cleaning easy!

I had over 100 fresh oranges to juice! I passed over other brands for this Cuisinart juicer. It’s so easy to use, does a fantastic job of extracting all the juice & is easy to clean...rinse & wash 2 pieces. Also, it has 4 settings for high, medium, low or no pulp. AND it is reasonably priced. I first tried my sister’s different brand juicer, and it overheated & had no adjustments? Cuisinart is the best!
