After reading reviews, I knew it was exactly what I wanted! The time it took to juice 10 lemons by hand (at least 20 minutes), took less than 10 with the Juicer. I purchase Cuisanart products whenever the need.

This is the second one I've had. Unfortunately, they had to send me another unit because after a while; it Never, ever shuts off. It simply keeps spinning. Major defect.

Seems great at first, but quickly becomes an annoyance. If you only want to juice one or two lemons then this may work out for you. The problem is this machine has some fatal flaws. One, know that no matter which pulp setting you use you're going to get pulp...a lot of it. Throughout the entire juicing process, including the fast spin, pulp winds up underneath the actual juicing piece, into the "tray" piece. Because of this there's no way for the juice to not pick up a ton of pulp as it goes into the tray and out the spout. So if you want pulp free juice make sure to have a strainer handy. Two, the reverse feature doesn't always work. The juicer is supposed to reverse direction whenever you release pressure on the juicer. Unfortunately, you may have to release pressure, apply pressure and release pressure more than a dozen times before this feature actually activates itself. And sometimes it never does. Three, you can only juice two or three lemons before the entire thing clogs up so bad with pulp that you have to take it apart and clean it before you can do anymore. So if you're trying to do more than just a few lemons you'll be stopping to clean this every few minutes. Four, clean is easy if you're only do a few lemons. But if you're doing more the rind starts to stick onto the juicer. While the majority of the rind comes of easily, it leaves a residue behind that can be difficult to get off. Nearly every time I set it in the drainer thinking it was clean only to come back and find it white with residue. It takes some real elbow grease, a wire scrubby, or a steel wool pad to get it off. Ultimately, this is a juicer for the occasional user who only need two or three lemons juiced at a time. Other than that save yourself the money and invest in some better.

If the strainer could have been disassembled, the pulp trapped in the middle could have been rinsed out but it is two filters with space between.
