I previously owned a cheaper citrus juicer a few years ago and was in need of a replacement. I quickly zeroed in on this model after a little research. I love the features of this machine. So far, so good!
The only issue I have is the cleaning process. Wish there was an easier way to clean it.

The Juicer was perfect as expected from a Cuisinart product. That's why I ordered it. Duh! But the absolute best was that it came packed with, instead of molded styrofoam, which is among the materials that is filling up our oceans and killing our planet, it came with molded PAPER like what is used to make egg cartons. That is biodegradable. I'm a Greenie so I really notice things like that. Thank you, Cuisinart.
BTW: When you ask for age you shouldn't just say 65+ thereby dismissing everybody over 65. Even if you don't care you should continue the age brackets just not to hurt our feelings. I, for example, am 81, thank you very much, and my Excellent review will carry just as much weight as if I were 55-65 and not 65+. And furthermore, I did, after all buy the Juicer!

I think I've tried every juicer on the market. Manual juicers, clam shell type hand squeezers, small electric models . . . the works. Having reached 'a certain age,' they were all really hard on my hands and wrists. So the Cuisinart juicer has been a revelation. I'm getting more juice out of my citrus with far less effort and strain. So happy I made this purchase. Price was very reasonable for a product of this quality.
