I bought this because a few days of extremely hot weather made our lemon tree drop a lot more lemons than we could use before they went bad. I juiced them all with this appliance and froze the juice in ice trays; then stored the cubes in airtight bags. Worked extremely well, and just as advertised.

My 40 year old Juicit finally gave up the ghost so I bought the Cuisinart. It works very well but I noticed that it was made with mainly plastic parts. It probably won't last 40 years.
