This is the second one I've had. Unfortunately, they had to send me another unit because after a while; it Never, ever shuts off. It simply keeps spinning. Major defect.

After reading reviews, I knew it was exactly what I wanted! The time it took to juice 10 lemons by hand (at least 20 minutes), took less than 10 with the Juicer. I purchase Cuisanart products whenever the need.

I bought this three weeks ago and I am still not convinced it is a great unit. It does have a powerful motor and it does a good job of getting the juice and pulp out. But it is not easy to clean. The pulp occasionally clogs the downspout. The high-speed extracting mode might get a few drops out of the pulp but it also splashes the pulp around, which sticks to the surfaces, making it all harder to clean. Unlike other circular juicers, you have to put a glass under the spout (or set the spout to "off") or you get an unpleasant counter-top of juice. Time will tell.
