Just an amateur with a love for fine quality

I am an amateur who loves to work out in the kitchen. I've owned all the german brands, but this knife is my only go to knife now. A friend told me about it 8 years ago, and it's a joy to hold and work with. The blade is perfect, and actually easy to maintain with my 4000/8000 grit stones.

Can't cook without it!

This was the first time I invested into a quality chef knife. I finally settled on a Shun and I couldn't be happier. For the past 3 years I've used this knife for everything in my kitchen. It cuts and slices anything imaginable with such ease. I'll be a shun customer for years to come.

An extension of myself.

I've had my Shun 8"" hollow chefs knife for 15 years now. It travels with me everywhere I go, and is an absolute dream to work with. The cutting edge chipped in a couple places and had to be reground and sharpened, but still performs flawlessly!

Best knife ever

I been working with my shun chef knife for over 5 years daily use on intense prep at my garde manger kitchen from clening and portioned fish to preffesional cut of different vegetable. In resume it is the best tool that every chef must to have.
