Great sound but app and touch controls need work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had these for a week or so now and while the sound and fit are up to Bose's usual high standards (I listen to a lot of classical music, and the sound is clear with decent bass), other aspects are a disappointment. ANC is not nearly as good as my old standbys, the wired Quit Comfort 20 (which remain my go-to phones for travel). The Bose Music app is also a bit lacking in features and seems to have repeated problems connecting with my phones, even when my iPhone is connected to them and streaming actively. The volume touch control on the right pod has to be used very carefully to avoid activating Siri (why, I have no idea, since I haven't set up Siri to work with these) and tends to be overly sensitive, so volume tends to get very loud or very soft very quickly.
The Bose custom ear tips are comfortable and stay in place without pushing too far into the ear canal, just as they do with the QC 20s. This is a big advantage over other ear buds.

Love these earbuds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these a month ago for a trip, which I haven't taken yet, but I have been using them for listening to music, work meetings on zoom and working in a noisy office and they are amazing. The different noise cancelling settings are great because sometimes I don't really need to hear others at work and sometimes I need to be aware of what is going on around me. I think for travel, I would prefer the full headphones but these will do just fine.

Awesome in comparison to sound cancelling airpods

Sounded great for a little while

Not a plug and play type of thing. My set did not connect as easy as they should. Once the battery died the left earbud wouldn’t charge. Too many issues. I sent them back, will give them one more try.
