[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the cream pair for work. The sound quality is excellent. The noise-blocking on these is far superior to airpods or beats. I can't hear anything when I turn the noise-blocking up and they tune out outside noise when I am on a call. So wonderful for work and normal use. I use these for running too and they stay in and work great. The only thing is that sometimes I sound very mic'd when I call, but this is only when there is a lot of background noise. They are a bit larger than many alternatives. As a small woman I was worried. But they don't look strange or feel too bulky. I definitely need the smallest ear size. Once I got used to them they fit super well and are comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Bose QC earbuds for about four weeks. Here’s what I think of them—
First off, my only complaint. It’s a pain to switch devices that they are connected to. You have to use the Bose music app, but that’s fine—it just takes more steps that what I’d like. Right now I’ve got them paired to three devices, an iPhone (which has the Bose app), and iPad, and an iMac at work. If they are attached to my phone, I can’t just open the iPad and try to connect. I have to open the iPhone, open the Bose music app, and toggle off the connection to the phone. Then I can open the iPad and connect to the earbuds there. It’s even worse if I want to connect to the iMac from the iPad; it adds an extra step—connect to phone, disconnect from iPad in app, disconnect from phone in app, and then finally connect to iMac from the iMac.
So that’s the one thing I don’t like, but apart from that, I like them very much. The sound quality is typical Bose—understated but excellent. There are no blaring lows or blast your eardrum highs, but it sounds great and is distortion free no matter the volume.
Even better is the noise cancellation. I work in a co-working office space and it can often get noisy with other people taking phone calls or having meetings. With the noise cancelation turned to 10 and soft music playing, I can’t hear anything around me. With the noise cancelation turned down to 0 it pumps in the surrounding noise so it’s as if I don’t have headphones on at all. This is great in situations where I need to be interruptible; for example if my wife is nearby I’d like to hear if she calls out to tell me something. The adjustable noise cancelation also works well when using these on a run—being able to let some traffic noise in helps me be safe so I am aware of what is going on around me. I’ve found, also, that setting the noise cancelation to 5 while on a run is the perfect setup for listing to podcasts while running; it lets just enough of the traffic noise in that I am aware of my surroundings but also mutes it enough that I can hear the spoken voice without having to turn the volume up too loud.
Speaking of running, these earbuds are VERY secure. Even though they are heavier than my normal earbuds (Apple’s AirPods Pro), they stay in place much better. This secure fit comes at a price, though, since the added pressure at the contact points makes them kind of tiresome to wear for more than two hours.
Overall, I am very happy with these earbuds. I’d highly recommend them to anyone.

Features like find your buds have been removed and every time I change from one device to another you have to forget device and pair it again. Absolute pain.
Noise cancelling is not perfect either. Particularly if there is a sharp noise like knocking cutlery together you get a loud pop in your ear which is really unpleasant.
In general they only really cancel ambient noise.

Hello Wildpie, thanks so much for leaving your thoughts on the QC earbuds. I will be sure to pass on the features you would like to see added to the development team for consideration. In the meantime, Bose QuietComfort Earbuds utilize both active and passive noise reduction technologies. They use a sophisticated proprietary approach for active noise reduction, placing microphones both inside and outside the earbuds. The electronics system senses the sound in almost any environment and then measures, compares, and reacts — instantaneously — to produce an opposing cancelling signal. The passive noise reduction is achieved by a combination of the acoustic design and proprietary eartip design. This can explain why you may still hear loud bangs. Reach out to us if you have any questions.

Bought approx six months ago, used rarely, approx an hour a week on average, they now blink red and white, don’t connect to anything and just don’t work, attempts at all troubleshooting resetting etc also proved useless as the headphones. At the price paid, one would expect a little more value and quality, the little sound it did offer was however very good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a great buy! While researching new earbuds to buy I came across these. Having a samsung and windows device in daily use, I needed something that was compatible across multiple platforms. Happy to find these! The Active Noise Canceling is the best I've heard (or not heard) so far. Because of the passive noise canceling from the silicon ear tips, the earbuds actually sound just as good or better than their headphone counterparts (I have the Bose QC 45). My only gripes: I would like a smaller case for the next version, and the ability to have two devices connected at once.
