Great Feature Set and Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the Bose Quiet Comfort knowing that the Bose sound signature is always great, my
question is always on fit of earbuds. I found that the only size that provided a comfortable secure fit was the Large Ear Tips and Large Wings. I wish there was a medium large option for both. Bose has once again provided one of the best products on the market.

The noise canceling is awesome but there’s no settings on the earbuds or other ways to change volume other through other devices. Unless I’m overlooking something.

Perfect Little Package of Ear Candy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been waiting for Bose to release ear buds with nosie cancellation for years. And along comes Bose QuietComfort® Earbuds, when I first put them on I was extremely happy, loved the feel and the full body sound I was hearing. After a few hours of using them and going over the features and controls they had, I soon realized that they had no audio control. If I wanted to change the level of the volume I would have to do it from the device I was listening to. This in its self was not a show stopper (not a reason to take them back) but it was the only thing that I did not like about them. Well about a month later Bose did the best thing ever. They released a firmware update that allowed you to control the volume level from the right buds control surface. And here we now have the perfect little package of ear candy to have ever been made. Good JOB Bose!

Outstanding Sound and Noise Cancelling

Overall: I got these for Christmas as I am a pilot, so it is nice to have noise cancelling headphones for deadhead flights and when I'm not at the controls. These headphones absolutely drown out the white noise of an airplane. It's really remarkable, and every time I take them off I'm amazed at how much ambient noise there is. The ability to change the level of noise cancellation is also great so that I can be in a more tranparent mode when I need to be able to hear the outside world. The sound is what I've come to expect from Bose products. Very clear with great sound quality throughout the range at all volumes. These headphones are very user friendly, easy to pair, and carry a charge for several hours of use. The case is a bit large, but it fits in my pocket with little trouble. Probably not good for a tight jeans pocket, but otherwise, the case is just fine, and it provides additional charges to the headphones, which is a standard feature, but still nice. The app allows you to change default levels of noise cancellation so you can use tapping on the left ear to adjust. It also teaches you about some of the touch features/controls. I just wish that there would be some options for customization. Maybe in a future firmware release. Anyways, if you're looking for amazing noise cancellation and sound, these are a no brainer. If a little bit of bulk with the case or the actual earbuds is a problem, and you're okay with slightly less functional quality in favor of form factor, you may look elsewhere. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Good sound but still has some problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the sound of these and the ability to change the level of noise cancelling. I wish it was easier to switch between devices. After years of using the QC20 noise cancelling headphones and some months of using the Bose Free Soundsport ear buds and never having a problem with inserting the ear bud or physical comfort with either of these, it took me more than a week to learn how to insert the redesigned QuietComfort Earbuds and which tip size to use. Now that I have the right tip size the the right movement to insert them, they work fine, but I was ready to call Bose and tell them to forget this "improved" design, I was so frustrated with them. I still use my QC20 earbuds and will never give them up, and I am on my second pair over the course of several years. The QuietComfort Earbuds are a good addition to my "tools" for those times when I prefer to be wireless.
