We bought this to cover our new hot tub and we couldn't be happier. For a large metal pergola, it was relatively easy for my wife and I to assemble (two ladders, a little over 3 hours). The result was fantastic. It is semi-transparent so you can still see your surroundings, yet it give shade and privacy. We are loving it.

Very nice addition to my deck. Nice pergola but instructions could be clearer. It took 3 hours for one person to put it together even though the suggestions in the box said that 3 persons were required for assembling it . Very happy with the look it gave to my deck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this pergola to cover our couches near our gazebo. It gets heavy sunlight all throughout the day, and we thought it would be nice to both protect the couches and ours eyes and skin when we sit there, without obstructing our view. Assembly took a couple hours, and I had the help of my family. It definitely requires at least two people. We sometimes had 3 to 4 people to make it go faster, but 2 people regularly working on it (myself and my father). It's nice and sturdy, all the screw holes lined up, and all the nuts and bolts went in fine. I was really expecting something to go wrong for a product this size but everything was PERFECT. The best part of the pergola is the fabric used for the shade. It is super heavy and thick. Top notch quality. Great work, Sunjoy! I will definitely be getting more of your products in the future. Nice addition to our back yard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we are pleased. The pergola looks great in our back yard! The shade is a nice, thick quality. There are small stakes to anchor the unit to the ground. Two issues I would note. When we unboxed, there were already a couple of rust spots. We had to move the pergola after assembling and it had rained the night before. When we shifted it, rusty water ran down the posts. Not sure how it's going to hold up to the elements over time. Second, the instructions do not specify the direction that you need to turn the four support posts. Each support post has a specific direction that they need to be turned in order to connect the supports, shade, etc. It took one person about 4-5 hours to assemble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I think this pergola was just what I needed to keep out of the TX sun all the time during this summer. This was perfect for our new house and man made patio we put down. This was the perfect size to put a hammock under and some chairs to hide from the beating sun. I like that the sides are adjustable to the way the sun moves if needed.
few material things about it: After assembling we have gotten quite the rain storms and alot of hail I would say it seems to hold up it made me very nervous and no water "pooled" on top.
-instructions were a little hard to follow
-the base I wish could secure to the ground we have an open concept yard and I am just hoping that the wind wont take it away one day.

Overall I think this will help me get through summer and I am super excited to have it!

I figured since I seen all the “finished “ photos, so I decided to show you exactly what is required to put it together. The instructions were NOT the best and do need to be redone, but we looked at finished photos and had no issues. Everything lined up and looks great.
I can not find issue with it, except the instructions.

A cool shady pergola!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pergola was fantastic for our backyard. We used it for an outdoor wedding and were able to hang lights, and make it fit into our space perfectly. It is easy to build and highly recommended! The shade is really helpful in the summer!
