We got this pergola to cover our couches near our gazebo. It gets heavy sunlight all throughout the day, and we thought it would be nice to both protect the couches and ours eyes and skin when we sit there, without obstructing our view. Assembly took a couple hours, and I had the help of my family. It definitely requires at least two people. We sometimes had 3 to 4 people to make it go faster, but 2 people regularly working on it (myself and my father). It's nice and sturdy, all the screw holes lined up, and all the nuts and bolts went in fine. I was really expecting something to go wrong for a product this size but everything was PERFECT. The best part of the pergola is the fabric used for the shade. It is super heavy and thick. Top notch quality. Great work, Sunjoy! I will definitely be getting more of your products in the future. This pergola is perfect for keeping the afternoon sun at bay. We didnt want a big structure but also didnt want just an umbrella. While the dimensions say 10x10 I think that is measured from the outermost corners. Where the posts stand is about 8x8 which is perfect to cover a small dining set or seating area. The sailcloth is really great quality and slides easily from one side to the other. The price is fantastic and it only took a couple of hours to put together.

Great addition to our backyard project. Meant to cover hot tub for shade and privacy. Works perfect without taking up much room. We added an outdoor roll shade to the front side by drilling it to the poles. It rolls up and down as we want. The top canopy is heavier than expected, but would probably remove in high wind storms. The ground anchors aren't really much to speak of, but I guess provide some support to the back that sit on the ground. The front sits on concrete bricks, so no good. This was not expensive compared to many others we've seen and does a great job. Gives us that backyard oasis Cabana feeling. LOVE IT.

Turned out just as I hoped to add extra living space to a “dreary” corner of our backyard—perfect escape from the house while kids are distance learning and we are all WFH! Set up is not easy—definitely needs at least 3 adults working together but worth it! Love that the shade can be moved but is also fixed to the structure for more stability.

My daughter’s 16 yr old boyfriend assembled this pergola by himself in a matter of 4 hours. So far it is sturdy and looks great! I love it!

Good quality at a reasonable price. Like others have suggested, read the instructions and look at the pictures before drilling anything! We had to take it apart a few times because posts weren’t facing the correct way. Other than that, we love it and it’s a nice size.

The product itself came with some bumps and bends but nothing that affected putting it together. It looks great when it is up. Some of the instructions were confusing and could be more in depth, tooks us a bit of time to figure out. But once we got it together it was pretty easy.
