I received a free printer to review this product. Wow!! I love this printer! Setup was clear and easy, but time consuming. Read through each step in the manual to get the full benefits from this printer. It is very compact, unlike my previous printer. I take a lot of pictures, and being able to print from home with professional quality is amazing! It has WIFI capabilities, which means no more dangling wires. It easily connects to google cloud, and to other devices in my home for printing. One thing I'm worried about is the cost of ink, as it does use a lot of ink for each job. Other than that, so far so good!
I received the free Prisma TS9 120 in exchange for an honest review:
It arrived well packaged and with no assembly required – that was the first bonus. The printer was easy to install and although the initial set up took some time, that is ok. The instructions were clear and if followed carefully, are self explanatory. I was pleasantly surprised that the package came with photo paper. We had just taken a family photo and where about to send it to an online site for printing. With discount that site wanted to charge $7.99 for one 8x10 photo. So my first test of the printer was the family photo. Holy smokes, it turned out perfect. Yes, I had to do a test run with regular paper first, actually two test runs before I figured out the trays and directions, but that was no big deal. I love the color and touch screen and am thrilled by the wi-fi feature. I have not tried to print from my phone but if it’s as easy as everything else, then I’m excited to try. Even though the printer is in a “closed” desk, I love seeing the red color every time I open the desk to work. I may not have sprung for the bells and whistles on my own but I’m glad to have them and now that I do, it may be hard to go back to an ordinary printer.
From first opening the package, I loved the way everything shipped securely. The product was wrapped very well and super easy to setup. The color red is such a nice pop of color in my home office. The first feature I tried was wireless print which did take longer than expected to setup but the results were worth it. I downloaded the cannon app on my phone so I can, print in seconds. The touch screen is very nice as well. I totally would recommend this to everyone, my sisters are all going to get one. Overall I am so happy I have this item and I find my self printing several times a day and it's so so easy. I should mention I was sent a free sample to use for this review...

I am hugely excited to be the owner of this high-quality color printer/scanner/copier/all-in-one machine. I received the product for free in exchange for an honest review, and although I may not have otherwise been in the market for such a machine, it has genuinely revitalized my enthusiasm for both photography and technology. I have been having a lot of fun exploring the printer's features and capabilities, with a focus thus far on printing a variety of personal photographs and downloaded hi-resolution art images to fill an assortment of long-empty frames that will soon be making my apartment walls look significantly better. This unit also made it simple and even pleasurable to scan in some photos I have of my grandmother when she was a baby -- a task I have been meaning to attend to for years now, and may have continued to put off were it not for the convenience the Pixma provided me. I am not an expert in color printers/scanners by any means, but the quality seems awesome and there are lots of convenient features including auto-on, an interactive touch screen, wireless connectivity, ability to control the unit from my computer or smartphone, ability to scan directly into Google Drive/Dropbox/etc, and access to a variety of free printables including coloring pages, sudoku puzzles, greeting cards, and more. The product is also visually attractive on my desk (I got it in red -- nice!) and fairly intuitive to use. Getting the product initially setup was a bit more time-consuming than I expected, but not at all difficult and worth my patience. At one point I did struggle to get the printer to automatically recognize when I was loading photo paper in the rear tray as opposed to non-photo paper in the cassette tray; I ended up printing a couple of photos from the cassette tray out of impatience, and they actually look pretty good aside from a some subtle horizontal lines going across the image in places. When I resolved the paper tray recognition problem (I had to manually change the presets on my computers print dialogue box from "Photo on Plain Paper" to "Photo on Photo Paper" -- duh?) the printed images looked flawless -- no lines, rich colors, and surprisingly fast. I am excited to experiment with printing on different types of papers, printing labels for my pantry jars, making custom cards for friends, scanning in my daughter's artwork, and not having to pay unnecessarily exorbitant shipping charges to online printing companies for just a few 5x7s. I would definitely recommend this printer to a friend and am looking forward to continuing to use it on the regular!
I definitely recommend this printer if you are looking for an all-in-one printer that is simple and easy to use, while also providing great print image quality. I received a free sample of this printer for providing an open and honest review of the product. The printer was packaged very securely in the box and it is very sleek and aesthetically appealing. The red color was a fun bonus to add some color to my home office. I don't consider myself to be super technologically savvy, so thankfully I found that the setup instructions were simple and easy to follow. Setup took me about 1 hour, but this was with distractions from my kids. Connecting my laptop and smartphone to the printer was a breeze with the included instructions and I was able to start printing right away. The quality of the printed images seems to be very close to the actual colors and the quality of the photos was excellent. Printing from your laptop and smartphone is very easy and the printer worked seamlessly with my iPhone. Even my children were able to print pictures on their own. The wireless capabilities were overall very convenient, however the printer has an auto shut-off after some time, and it does not automatically turn back on when you try to print wirelessly. For scanning, the printer allows you to directly send the scanned documents to your smartphone, which I found very convenient when trying to get work emails sent. The only issue I had while using the printer was that although the paper tray expands out to catch the printed pages, the tray fails to retract back in on its own after use. This seemed somewhat awkward, as it left the paper tray sticking out from the front of the printer and could easily get snapped off. The device itself is very quiet when in use and print speed seemed on par with most other printers. The touchscreen added to the ease of use and the print, copy and scan features were all accessible from the main screen. Overall, I would highly recommend this printer for its all-around capabilities and ease of use.
In exchange for my thoughts and opinions on the PIXMA TS9120 RD Printer, I received the product for free. The Canon PIXMA TS9120 came in a large box with a picture of the printer. Precautions were taken by the manufacturer to ensure my product would not be damaged during the shipping process. There was, what I felt to be an excessive amount of the protective peel off tape. Setting the printer up was relatively easy with following the instructions. Installing the ink cartridges proved to be really easy as well. With that being said, I really struggled with getting the printer up and running. In the process, you are to print a test page and then put it on the scanner to calibrate the print head. I followed the instructions very carefully and got an error code that told me calibration had failed and to make sure it was clean. I did this and it wouldn`t let me use the same test page to try calibrating. It made me reprint the test page which takes four minutes. I tried this process 3 times in a row and then consulted the Canon website for assistance. After trying to calibrate again and it didn`t work again I figured I would just try to print anyways. The image quality is stunning! I had received a sample pack of photo paper to print pictures and I was literally amazed. Word documents came out in good quality as well. The printer worked just fine without calibration success and I was extremely happy with what came out. I enjoyed the ease of printing directly from my phone. The PIXMA has very modern, sleek look (mine was red) and I really love the touch screen feature as well. Although the calibration was frustrating I was very pleased with this printer. And think it is a great value for home printing.

This is a high quality printer with all the digital bells and whistles. The connection to the printer from my devices is streamlined and the printing happens quickly and easily. The paper output tray extends (and retracts when requested) automatically. It`s easy to scan on the flat bed and get the document right to your device. The printing is not uber sharp, so this isn`t really a printer for professional printing projects, but it`s a nice sized printer for a home office that requires color printing. And, I am glad to finally have mobile printing work from my phone!
Most of my critiques are minor and have to do with setup.
It took me a bit longer than it should have to set up, partly because of a few things missing from the instructions (I would say the physical set up instructions were almost thorough, but the connections setup was missing info), and because the cord was quite short I had to move around a power strip. I normally prefer toner-based printers rather than those with these types of ink cartridges, as they can get expensive and after time, require a lot of maintenance due to dried ink. [It`s also very digitized, and I`ve worked with an older model of a similar Canon for a client and it got glitchy after a few years, but it was still a workhorse.] The computer connection setup took a long time on step 3, and I wasn`t sure if there was a problem but it eventually completed.
The printer is working fine and efficiently for regular documents, however I encountered some issues trying to print photos. There is a strange step where you have to register the paper size in the back tray each time you use it, but the terms or codes they use are unknown to me -- I just guessed based on dimensions. Printing from my phone, the photo wouldn`t print. The paper went through but no photo. So I transferred the photo to my computer and printed it, but ruined a couple of pieces of photo paper because the guides on the back of the printer are incorrect as I understand them (maybe the iconography has changed), so I had the paper facing the wrong direction (the instructions on the paper container were incorrect as well -- the front/back should be reversed from what they tell you). The final photo print looks OK, as good as any home printed photo.
Most of my critiques I would have normally just given to the manufacturer but I was asked to give a thorough review for receiving the device.
Last Saturday I went to complete a Real Estate Signing Thank God I had already set up the sample Canon TS9100 The client made mistakes on a document and I would have had to find a print store then return but since I had the printer setup in my vehicle I simply went to my car and reprinted the erred documents The quality is almost as rich as a laser printer and the speed is very sufficient Finally I have never printed a picture with a printer I didn’t realize that regular people could print such high-quality pictures of your own
I received the Canon TS9100 to sample and I`m using it for my business printing away from the office I should mention that I’m not technically gifted in fact I’m technically inept but a child could set up this printer Setup is automatic and all I needed to do was remove the plastic and plug it in The printer guided me through the whole setup process It automatically added itself to my Apple IPad Pro ASUS Notebook and Chromebook for Cloud printing Second I love the modern smooth no exposed parts design It exceeds my quality expectations and I highly recommend it Would it be asking too much to make it a laser Lmao
