Excellent for curly hair

My husband got this for me as a gift to cut my dry time down on my curly hair. It cut 10min off! The diffuser works great

Great Dryer and great quality

I’ve been a stylist for over 25 years and I recently got this dryer. I have to say I love it. I do allot of silk presses and I have allot of natural and textured hair clients. I love that the cool shot button is not on the trigger because it gets in the way as accidentally bump it and turn it on when I don’t mean too. So I love it being on the back of the dryer. It gets the hair nice and dry and shiny. I love the fact that it’s lighter, quieter, and has a shorter handle than my other hair dryers. I really love the comb attachment and that it doesn’t fly off when I’m drying someone with 4c textured hair. On all other blow dryers that I’ve bought in the past my if I break my comb attachment I have to buy another blow dryer just to get another attachment. With Dyson I can just order another attachment. My clients love it also they tell me that their hair and scalp feel awesome and that can definitely tell the difference with the Dyson. They love it and so do I.

I’m suddenly a professional hair stylist when I use this blow dryer in my home. The lightweight and small appliance is so easy to use, change the angle, and work with my roller brush. Highly recommend.

I love this hair dryer. I am not sure how to use all the attachments yet. The flyaway tool specifically, I am not sure if I can use it to straighten my hair instead of using a straightener. However, I will not use another dryer after this one. My hair is shiny, softer, and dries quicker!

Can not be fixed or replaced

I am a professional hairstylist who purchased the Dyson Supersonic professional edition. I was excited about investing in this blow dryer and hoped it would last especially because of the price tag. When I purchased my dryer I absolutely loved it!!! I would tell everyone in the salon to invest in one because it so was good on textured hair. After 2.5 years my blowdryer just completely went out. I tried to take it to a Dyson Service Center to get it fixed but they told me that Dyson do not make replacement parts and the blow dryer do not last long because the company rushed to get the product out to keep up with the competition. Also, the service center could not fix it and encourage me to purchase another open. I would recommend that no professional purchase this hair dryer because it is not built for longevity nor withstand a professional salon environment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
