Dried hair much quicker and much quieter (the noise of my old dryer made me nuts). And it is considerably lighter and more balanced to hold. A win all around.

Run, don’t walk. Seriously. The price was a deterrent for me, as I’m not a hairdryer snob and blow my hair out daily with a round brush. I’ve been doing this for _3 years and I’ve never ever been so obsessed with an appliance as I am with this hairdryer. I will talk to anyone who will listen about it. I’m not sure what kind of space alien technology, Dyson uses, but I have never been able to blow my hair out completely in less time with zero sweat and zero smoke from any burning hair brush, hair product or hair. I was washing my hair twice a day just to keep blowing it out for the first few days. 4 of my girlfriends have bought them since I got mine because I convinced them. They’ve all thanked me and have gone on to the air wrap and the new wet to dry instantly (?) one. It works! Anyway, if you use a hairdryer for any reason for any type of hair, this is a worthy investment.

Changed attachment to magnetic, doesn't fit all

I purchased this blow dryer simply for one attachment. When I purchased a supersonic, it didn't say that the attachments were magnetic and wouldn't fit all options. When I ordered extra attachments, I noticed it was a different settings to place attachments. There's no communication as to this change, or options to use the attachments I actually want. Poor marketing on setting the standard And communication on attachments changing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good dryer but it takes getting used to it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a good dryer, but it really takes a lot of getting used to.
In the beginning, I did not put on an attachment and it tangled my hair something awful. I have really thick hair too and it made a big mess.
Prior to use, experiment with the attachments and find what you are comfortable with because you do not want to use without some sort of an attachment on the dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
