I am a bald 77 year old man who purchased the dyson dryer to dry me off after a shower. Use a towel and then Dyson to get completely dry. Fast. I appreciate the dyson not getting hot on the outside so I can put it down without damaging surfaces. Does exactly what I purchased it for.
I have had this for a couple of months. I looked at it for a long time and finally purchased. It is expensive but we’ll worth it. I have wavy/frizzy hair that takes Al long time to dry. This dries my hair in half the time and the attachments make it easy to blow out. I also got the large round brush and love that also. I highly recommend.
As I age (turning 65 in December), my hair is more sensitive to styling tools. This Supersonic hair dryer, with diffuser attachment, allows me to style my curls quickly (the heat and blow set at its lowest point) and the curls are beautiful, without any frizz. I’m truly surprised how well it works. I want to take it traveling but don’t want to take the chance with incompatible voltage in Europe, so I’m going to buy one in Europe and bring it home with me for future travel. That’s how much I love this Dyson Supersonic!
Someone finally understands that cheaply designed blow dryers damage everyone’s hearing and did something about it. With a Dyson, can carry on a conversation at normal levels, dry your hair while someone sleeps in the very next room, and not tire your arm from holding it up because it’s so light.
The price is a bit steep, but hopefully they will last a good 20 years like any high-quality, high-priced product should.
My kids bought me this dryer for my birthday last year. I was like there is no way I'm keeping this at this cost. But then I tried it out and fell in love with it. The only thing I wish they would change is the position of the cool shot button. It should be on the opposite side, it's very awkward how they did it.
