Love it!
It’s light weight and powerful!
A beautiful looking tool. I’m so glad I bought it! I am a cosmetology teacher. One of my students has one so I was intrigued! In doing my research I was determined to try the blow dryer. Truly pleased!!!
I have hand tied extensions, my Dyson cut my drying time significantly! I went from 44 minutes to 15. I’m not kidding!!! Amazing
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for the first few years

I love the Dyson, but now it just keeps shutting off randomly. I have cleaned the filter and it still does it. Also, I have tried many other fixes people have suggested and nothing. I am back to using my 10 year old hairdryer and it works great
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Salon worthy blow-outs

For the first time EVER I am able to achieve the look I get coming out of the salon. I don't have to use my straightening iron, the dyson dries my hair quickly and it's sleek and shiny. I'm not worrying about damaging my hair with all the styling tools just to try to achieve a look close to what I want. I get exactly the style I'm aiming for and my hair is healthy! Can't believe I waited so long to get one!

Dyson hair dryer

I was hesitant to buy because of the price. I see all my hair stylists use one but theirs burned out fast or had a cord problem. I took their advice and bought one anyway because my hair is very thick and it takes way too long to dry my hair. I also have problems with holding items over my head so this was a big relief. Blow drying can take up to 45-60 minutes with my hair into a frizz ball and this baby takes the maximum 20. My arms are not fatigued and I get that nice straight shine all the way through the tips of my hair. I still need to play with the attachments but I do recommend this for the reasons above. Be careful on the settings because it can get extremely hot so you will need to adjust when you are drying close to your scalp.

Just like everyone else, I was skeptical, until I tried it. Cliche, but true.
The one attachment that made the difference for me was the fly away attachment. It's the one that gives you that post hair dresser hair feeling. I have wavy hair and added mouse, and used the diffuser - it was effective and I had lasting curls for a couple days.
My mum now wants one for Christmas after seeing the results on my usual raggity head haha.

I have relatively thick hair and used to have give myself plenty of time to get out the door on “hair” days. No longer! This dryer is so quick and efficient I have shaved a good 15 minutes off my morning routine. Thanks Dyson!

I bought this at Chicago hair show. Loved using it. However started shorting out on very quickly. I cleaned my filters monthly and still it kept quitting on me in the middle of a blow dry. Would not turn back on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quick drying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very fine straight hair and using this dryer made it appear fuller. It took less time to dry and I had no flyaways. My hair usually gets caught in the filter on the back of a normal dryer but since the Dyson in on the handle I did not have to worry about that. It is a heavy cord but worth the extra weight.
