Okay....here we go! My mom pre-ordered this for my birthday and we just got it last week. I was so excited!!! I love the box it came in....the presentation of the dryer is cool.
Unpacked the dryer and looked at all the attachments but immediately grabbed the diffuser because I have curly hair. I LOVE that is attaches with a magnet. It clicked right into place and is very sturdy.
I washed my hair, applied all my normal curly hair products and plugged her in. The handle is long, which I like. It is comfortable in my hand and it is lighter than my other dryer....the cord is long which I like. I turned it on and it is powerful and has such a different sound from a normal dryer. I liked it! I had to adjust the heat. On the pink side, you have little silver hot and cold buttons that have 3 dots each next to them that are blue and red respectively. You can punch each to get it to the temp you want.
I then commenced to drying. There is a little bit of a high pitched whine because of the motor. I only heard it when I had the dryer right at my ear....with a slight turn away from my ear, I didn't hear it.
The diffuser is awesome! It is more concave than the one I was using and it fits the shape of my head. Instead of being stabbed with the posts, it picks up my hair in that scoop and it very comfortable. The air is gentle and my curls turned out amazing. My hair was fuller and felt thicker. And no, I am not being paid for the review.....I just love how this dryer works and wanted to let others know in case you are on the fence about it. I am very thankful to mom for getting it for me. It is worth every penny especially when you have hair that requires a little extra work so you don't look like a scary troll doll! Dyson killed it with this! And...I do love the pink! Thanks Dyson!!
