Great features !

I love it . It's a very good hair dryer.
When it came out on the news, I think it was expensive but I do know it's a high -tech products. Finally I bought one and it's worth to buy. I am going to buy another one today.
Pros: Straight, Thick

This hairdryer exceeded my expectations. I love it!!!! Quick drying but doesn't feel hot on your scalp. Your hair actually feels better after using this hairdryer

work smarter not harder

I have heard about this dryer for a long time and finally paid the money to have one of my own. It is worth the price tag in my opinion. I have been in the hair industry for 9 years and gone through my fair share of blowdryers. This machine is powerful, sleek and has cut my dry time down quite a bit. I also have a shoulder injury so this machine is light and easy to handle unlike other powerful blowdryers. My clients have really enjoyed as well, they love how quite it is next to their ear. I can also still hear them talking over the blowdryer. I would say the only down side would be to maybe make the cord longer so the box in the middle sits on the ground and doesn't swing when I am moving. Other then that I am so happy I bought this product.

Nice design, but not the best

I bought this almost a month ago. I was super excited to have a hair dryer that would actually dry my hair instead of just heat it up. Even on the lowest levels it is so powerful that it knots and dries out my usually sleek hair. Also, you have to let the nozzles cool down before you take them off or they are really hot. If you take them off too soon and touch the magnetic part it connects too you will actually burn yourself (my arm has a burn on it as proof.). It didn't do much it turns of reducing drying time and actually left my hair a little frizzier than a normal hair dryer. Yes, the motor being in the handle makes the weight distribution better, but that's about it. Imagine drying your hair in one of the Dyson hand dryers in bathrooms. That is essentially what this product is. I had such higher hopes for it.
Pros: Normal, Thick, Wavy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The dryer itself is excellent, beautifully designed, easy to hold, very powerful and the airflow is more substantial than any dryer I've ever owned. I use the diffuser attachment, and at 41 years old, my curls have never, ever looked better. They have more "spring" in them than they have in years. My hair is thick, and it dries more quickly with the Dyson than with my other dryers. Now, it still takes some time to get all this hair dried, but it takes LESS time overall and I'm happy with that. My only compliant, if I had to come up with one, is that when the diffuser attachment is on, it's loud/has a high pitch tone that is a little intense. With no attachment, the dryer is so quiet that I can actually talk to my spouse while I'm using it and he can hear me! So, if I could ask Dyson to change one thing, it would be to see if it was possible to make a diffuser attachment that was quieter/didn't have the high pitch whine. Not a deal breaker, will continue to use, and will definitely recommend. My stylist is going to be blown away with how healthy my hair is when I see her next!

Love this Dyson Hairdryer

I'll start with my hair type. Somewhat fine texture but have a lot of hair. Fairly wavy. Some gray. Some highlights. Shoulder length. Good condition and shinny!
1. I wanted a dryer too shorten my drying time and maintain my hair condition. But, also help eliminate the wavy aspect.
2. The weight and the noise were also a consideration.
3. Quality for the price paid and the warranty...very important!
4. Variables in settings for heat and blower speed.
I feel this dryer has met all my needs. My hair takes about 15 minutes now instead of 30 minutes. I no longer need to use my flatiron (huge help with maintaining the condition of my hair). I still have a little wave but think with practice I can make that better too! This dryer is a pleasure to use! The whole experience is quieter and the bathroom isn't steamy hot when I am finished. Something about sweating while drying your hair is just counter productive! Overall, I would say it's just wonderful and what I would expect from Dyson! My thanks to all of you who worked so hard to perfect this dryer. I do wish that it could also be used with power sources in other parts of the world. And, that it came with that lovely box you picture here. I bought my dryer at a national chain store and that was not included. The price of the dryer is the only factor that kept me from buying it the first minute it showed up on the store's shelf. One more comment...for those women who have reviewed and said caused the condition of their hair to worsen, you might be using the dryer with the settings too high for your hair type. I am using the heat at #2 and the blower at #1 or 2. I have not had a problem! I do think a hair guide for the heat/blower might be a good thing too include in the instruction book! Again, thank you Dyson!!!

LUV THE DYSON HAIRDRYER

The Dyson hairdryer is, hands down, the most fantastic tool ever used to dry my hair--including the top-end hair dryers used by my hair salon. It dries my hair in one-third of the time over conventional ionic hair dryers. Best of all, it lifts my hair in the process, creating much more volume than ever before. I would never live without my Dyson hairdryer, now that I have found it!

This product is uncomparable to anything like it. Before this product it would take me about 25 to 35 minutes to blow dry my hair. I received this products as a birthday gift, and was skeptical at first. I researched it and looked into videos, which do not do it justice. It now takes me half the time to blow dry my hair, which is crucial for someone who's in grad school full time and works full time, 10-15 minutes added to my day helps a lot! My hair comes out so much shinier and barely any frizz, which I can't say has ever happened with any other product. I no longer need to use a straightener afterwards. The added attachments make this product even better. I would recommend this products to all my girlfriends!
