Beautiful machine

I love this hair dryer and would have given it 5 stars but I have one complaint which is actually minor. The location of the cool burst button is awkward. It's right above the palm of your hand when your holding it and right above the power button so you can't just palm it. I have to change the grip completely to use it. I don't think it dries my hair faster but I have hair extensions so it's a lot of hair. I definitely have less fly aways and can use the super targeted attachment and skip the flat iron. It's definitely quieter than other dryers. I can have a conversation while drying my hair without yelling. Great product!

The Dyson Supersonic is an incredible device. My hair is quite long (mid-back), very course and very thick. I typically wear my hair up because it just takes too long to manage. I have been to blowout salons many times and the stylists typically take over an hour to get my hair completely dry and styled. With this blow dryer, I have dried my hair in 10-15 minutes multiple times and not felt like I needed to style it more. Compared to other hair dryers that I have owned, I definitely think the texture of my hair post-blowdrying is much smoother with the Dyson device. I am sure my hair looks better when it is styled at a blowout salon, but I hate spending that much time and money for my hair. While this device is expensive, I find the cost worth it since I no longer go to blowout salons before events. I also love how light the dryer is. Now, it no longer seems a burden to pack a hairdryer in my suitcase when I travel. This is the first Dyson device that I have ever owned, and this dryer definitely makes me consider purchasing other types of Dyson products in the future. I highly recommend the Dyson Supersonic!

Fast and quiet

This is the best hair dryer I have ever owned. I hate drying my hair and my hair is very prone to frizzing. With the Dyson, my hair is dried fast (and quietly) and my frizz is barely noticeable. Only wish is for a retractable cord. This cord curls funny and takes away from the benefits of the small size and sleekness of the dryer itself.

This unit brings a volume of air for drying that seems "softer".
There is probably some technical way to describe this, but I don't know the science.
All I know is that my wife, who is concerned about her thinning hair, is ecstatic with the gentleness of this hairdryer along with its ease of use!

Great hairdryer...a little light

My Hubby bought this for me and I love it. I personally love a heavy hairdryer that can move around my hair well so it has taken some time to get used to the weight. Sometimes the attachments pop off mid dry but overall I am very happy with this hairdryer. ❤️ All my Dyson appliances

I don't think my wife could go back to a regular hair dryer now. Saves her 5 - 10 minutes per blow dry. Much easier for her to handle as well. She thinks that it is well worth the price.

This is by far the BEST hair dryer I've ever used! Yes, it's expensive but worth every penny. This innovation is a game changer and it's about time! Feels so lightweight because the balance is very different with the motor in the handle. The sound is truly quiet with a sound like a strong wind instead of a motor-sound. My hair comes out softer and shinier in less than half the time.

I really like the dryer. It has more than enough power and heat and the two nozzles are perfect for creating straight or not so straight styles. My favorite part is how easy it is to clean the air intake. I do it every time I use my dryer now.
My only complaint is the location of the cool shot button. If you are using the dryer on someone else it makes total sense but it's very awkward if you are drying your own hair. I have not been able to efficiently depress the button to cool my hair without having to switch to the other hand to locate the button.
I like the thick cord but the coils in it have not relaxed and they do get in the way sometimes by wrapping around the handles of my vanity drawers.
But as far as performance and results go I am loving it!
