Good dryer

Very powerful hair dryer. Ergonomically sound and weighted properly. Relatively quiet. Only one complaint...the "cold shot" button is poorly located. It is much too easy to accidentally press it. I cannot figure out how to hold the unit high enough not to block the air intake, but low enough not to press the button.
Pros: Normal

I've had my dryer for 2 weeks now! I used to loath blowing my hair dry but now I look forward to it! I love the magnetic attachments, heat settings, fan speed, long cord, light weight and quiet. I love that my hair feels so soft and I don't have to flat iron it after since it is so soft and strait. I am excited to try various things with the other attachments!!! Dyson for the win, yet again!
Pros: Colored, Normal, Straight, Thick, Wavy

I purchased this hairdryer wondering how much better can a hairdryer ever get? Ladies and gentlemen this is a must have if you have a full clientele! This dryer dries at least 50% faster than the best hair dryer I have ever owned before. I love the magnetic hold for the concentrators and the diffuser also.
It isn't to heavy. My clients are super impressed also. Don't hesitate to purchase this because it will more than make up for the price differance by helping you finish early and have plenty of time to take a little break before your next client! Thank you DYSON you make my life easier with all of you wonderful products.

If you suffer from naturally frizzy, kinky curly, out of control natural hair - then this blow dryer is life changing ! I'm waiting for dyson to now release an entire line. Please develop hair curling irons ( I would also say a flat iron, but after using the blow dryer a hair straightener is obsolete ! ) I couldn't be happier with my purchase & highly recommend this to everyone, you won't be dissappointed :)

Have only used it once so far and loved it. Very easy to use, light and powerful. I love the attachments being magnetized. It makes it so easy to position according to what part of the head you are drying/styling.
Besides I love high tech gadgets, and this is certainly one of them. Go for it, it's worth the price.

Supremely well made and functional. However, the cord is too long, too heavy, and too cumbersome to manage for storage. The attachments and controls and functionality are all supreme. However, there is not really that much room for improvement over typical hair dryers. The improved weight balance with the motor in the handle is noticeable, but not significant. Similarly, the stand-off difference between your head and your hand is not enough to make that great of difference. No doubt that this unit is built to last a very long time, and perform at 100% always. The quality is there, but I'm not sure Dyson hit the value proposition for the home. I expect the professional will love everything about this and find the value truly there.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
