So disappointed

I was expecting a miracle I suppose. This dryer tortured my hair. I am leaving it in the guest bathroom. Perhaps my hair is too fine?
Pros: Dry, Fine
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for leaving your review on the Supersonic. The Supersonic features an intelligent heat control which allows you to dry your hair without the risk of extreme heat damage. The use of hair treatment products can affect the outcome as well.

Straight Hair in a nano second

I bought the hair dryer a month ago direct from dyson because I have been a fan of the vacuum cleaners for years... and I thought it was worth a try. I promised myself I would return it if it wasn't FABULOUS because it is pricey,
But it is FABULOUS. I have always thought that too many woman hours are wasted on blow drying so sometimes I did it-- and mostly not. Now I use my DYSON all the time- and people ask me all the time, if I just had my hair "done. I use the straightening nozzle- I don't understand how or why it works- but it does and is worth every penny. I even take it with me when I travel. ( I need a smaller lighter one for that purpose. )

I wanted to love this product as much as I love all my Dyson products but it left my hair feeling like straw. Not acceptable! Very disappointed.

I love it. Only complaint is I thought the wind power would be a little stronger. I was imagining like the hand dryers.

amazing product

even as a big fan of dyson product, i thought it would be overkill to get pricy hair dryer like this one. but at the same time, i have yet to purchase dyson product that does not deliver its value over and over. now that i had it for about a month, oh man, once again dyson delivers great product. thanks to dyson, i refuse to use conventional dryers!

It's actually worth the money!

I love that I use the lowest heat and airflow settings yet am able to dry my hair more quickly than I ever have with other hair dryers. I also love that the attachments are magnetic; how come no one has thought of this before? I was really tired of my diffuser falling off of my old dryers while I was using it; I never want to go back to the old technology now! The only watchout and what I'd like to see improved in the future is the cord - it's very heavy. It's suited for industrial purposes. While the dryer itself is lighter than other dryers, the cord is much heavier and in total it's heavier than what I've used in the past. Perhaps professional stylists need such a cord, but a home user does not. Could the next version have a lighter cord for home use?

I have been using my Dyson hair dryer for several months and love it! The temperature stays even - no moments where it gets too hot and you have to change the heat setting. No heating element at the tip either to "burn" your hair. Very fast styling with the high level of air flow with the highest setting. Just simply the best!

Kind to my hair

Have had the Dyson supersonic for a few months now. Really like how it is gentle on my hair. Can see the health of my hair improving now that it's not getting exposed to excessive heat. Also really appreciate how quiet it is. Much less jarring in the morning than my old dryer. The cord is a bit cumbersome but does seem like it will last quite a long time given how sturdy it is.
