Worth it!

Admittedly I am a Dyson fan - love the R&D he puts into his products and the simple yet functional design and power they bring. The Supersonic is no exception. I have shoulder length, thick, naturally curly hair that I prefer to wear straight. Styling my hair consumed such a large part of my life, I purchased the Supersonic for its faster dry time while protecting my hair from damage. I have to say after a month or so of use, I not only saw those benefits but have also enjoyed the lighter weight, ease in maneuverability the design offers and the quietness of the motor. With its compact design, I take my Supersonic with me everywhere, so I never have to use anything else. I honestly cannot think of any improvements for future versions. If you are considering it, don't hesitate - it is well worth the investment.

I have been doing hair for 46 years, I was there when the first hand held blow dryer was being mass produced. They have been HEAVY, LOUD, caused shoulder problems , hand problems, back and neck problems because of the heavy motor, and the placement of that motor.
THANK YOU DYSON you have given me many more years to work with your design and wonderful blow dryer. My customers love it as well and will be asking for one for XMas. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I love the hair dryer! It is quieter and faster than precious dryers. 2 things- I wish the diffuser was bigger and even on the low setting it is still hot when I'm holding it against my hair for a minute. For my curly hair it dryers faster and helps my product hold the curl better!

I don't write reviews, ever. I'm making an exception. I've had my eye on the Supersonic since I read about it months ago & made the move after being frustrated with the condition my hair was in. I've used it daily for about a week, and despite my hesitance to make such a major purchase, it was worth every cent. I have fine straight hair that in recent years has started to frizz and wouldn't behave no matter what tools I used.
After the first blow dry, the difference was obvious. My hair is as shiny and bouncy as it used to be and lost the dry, frazzed, uneven look that I couldn't seem to change. Finally, after all these years, it's smooth and healthy looking.
The features are great, but the end result is what mattered to me.

I have long hair that takes what seems like forever to dry but with the Dyson I'm done in half the time. My hair is so soft and shiny. I cannot hardly believe the difference in the condition of my hair. AMAZING!!!! Well done Dyson! I had to take my new Dyson to my hairdresser to try and she and everyone in the salon was blown away. My hairdresser could not get over how soft and shiny the Dyson made my hair. I have to sum this up by saying the Dyson hairdryer is PURE GENIUS!!!

Time Saver!!!

I am a dad and bought this for my 3 girls in the house. In our evening routine we were spending a significant amount of time blowing drying hair with conventional hair dryer. The Dyson unit is light and even on the highest fan setting we can have a regular conversation. The cord is longer than our old dryer and makes it easier when the girls are sitting in a chair and I'm drying their hair. What is truly remarkable is how fast I can dry their hair now. It literally takes half if not less time for my girls. All of which have mid-back length hair. So no more, "Dad, am I done yet?"
