I didn't expect my husband to like this dryer

We recently moved to Hawaii, and spend a LOT more time in the water. Which means a lot more hair drying for me. My husband shaves his head, so this dryer was my indulgence. I love how quick and quiet it is. It has made drying and styling my hair so easy. I thought I had it all to myself...until I caught my husband using my (not inexpensive) Dyson dryer...TO DRY THE DOG! He raved about how it didn't get too hot and the motor noise didn't scare our labradoodle. We usually have to fight her with towels (and she always ends up on our bed), but here she was, thoroughly enjoying her spa treatment, completely unfazed.
The Dyson is perfect, and probably too extravagant for a dog...but if you need just a little more reason to sway your decision to buy one, it's great for people with pets. ;-) Pros: quiet, fast, light, precise temperature control, stylish, dog-friendly. Cons: not cheap, attachments dislodge easily

Dries my hair fast!

Have thick wavey hair that takes a long time to dry straight. Using the Supersonic cuts the drying time in half!! The airflow is amazing.
Pros: Colored, Curly, Thick, Wavy

I have yet to get a nice looking blow dry with this thing.
It does dry quickly but my hair always turns out frizzy. Bummed I bought this.
Pros: Thick, Wavy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for leaving your review on the Supersonic. The Supersonic features an intelligent heat control which allows you to dry your hair without the risk of extreme heat damage. The use of hair treatment products can affect the outcome as well depending on your type of hair.

Almost Perfect

I own several different Dyson products and they all are aesthetically beautiful. The hairdryer does not disappoint even at its hefty price point. It is powerful, but lightweight and is truly balanced in the user's hand so there is no arm fatigue. The magnetic attachments are brilliant. My only complaint is that the on/off button is a bit fussy. I would recommend a larger button that is easier to manipulate while the dryer is in use.
Pros: Dry, Frizzy, Wavy

Once again Dyson has presented us with yet another high quality and innovative product that makes us rethink mundane products that haven't evolved in a little more fifty years! Don't be put off by the price, it's typical and comes with the territory for a premium high quality product like Dyson.

It arrived today just in time for me to dry and style my hair after my shower. Wow! It DOES have the greatest features; it IS so much more easy to handle and is much kinder to my hair. The heat and flow settings are so much more effective than any dryer I've used before...I think my new Dyson Supersonic and I are going to have a long and happy relationship!
Pros: Dry, Fine, Straight

LOVE DYSON, BUT HEAT/COOL BUTTONS NOT EASY ACCESS

I bought this a few months ago and it took a while to get used to - by that I mean that the cool buttons on the unit are NOT conveniently located and I can't change the heat setting to cool without bringing the unit down from near my hair to be able to press the buttons when it's in my left hand (which is most of the time) and this is very inconvenient and tiring on my arm plus my hair sometimes comes out of the brush while adjusting the setting so I have to recapture it. It seems like the cool button should be on the arm like most hair dryers so that it's a quick push of a button, not 3 presses to get rid of the heat. For the price it should be easier to operate. On the positive side, I love Dyson products and I do like how quickly it dries my hair but the button placement doesn't work well for me so for the price I wouldn't recommend it.
When I first tried it and found it difficult to use I wondered if it was created for a hair stylist and not the individual user.
Pros: Straight
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is recommended to hold the handle higher up where it is easier to access the buttons while in use and to avoid covering up the filter/exhaust on the bottom of the handle.
