Not enough for the price

It is a great hair dryer, but for the price it should be better. The highest heat setting doesn't get hot enough. It advertises to be much more quiet than standard dryers, but is only marginally better. I do really enjoy that the attachments are held on by magnets and don't fall off when in use. The power cord has a large transformer built into it that eats up space, and the plug block the second outlet. Too many artists in the design, not enough engineers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Air Control - Needs Ergonomic Work

Air and temperature control id excellent. The cylindrical handle slips around a bit in the hand. The small temperature and air speed buttons are difficult to control without looking at the small LEDs on the rear for confirmation of settings. The ON / OFF and Cold Shot switch and button could be larger and give more tactile feedback.
Overall, a success. Perhaps versions 2.0 will improve on switches...

Amazing hair dryer

My hair dries so much faster. It's so light so it's SO much easier to give my hair a voluminous blowout.I can't go back to my old T3 hairdryer after using this hairdryer!

I LOVE-LOVE this Dyson dryer. I'm now able to blow dry my hair into a professional looking style and do it in a fraction of the time. Previously my hair would turn frizzy if I didn't spend 25+ minutes blowing it dry. I can now actually straighten out my natural wave (when I want to) and I don't get the frizz--all -in a very short drying time. It is everything they say and then some. The Dyson is so quiet I don't need ear plugs like I'd use with all my other blow dryers. This dryer is well worth every penny I spent on it and I can't live without it now!!
