Disappointed with the attachments quality

I purchased the Dyson machine about 2 weeks ago. After about 3 or 4 uses the Smoothing nozzle attachment came apart. Please see below for a picture. It looks like the glue or whatever was holding the part together wasn't strong enough. I am usually a big fan of Dyson (I have the vacuums) and I was so excited to get the technology and quality in a hair dryer; however, clearly the quality was not translated into the hairdryer product.
Pros: Fine, Straight
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought 11/23/16 and it was the best purchase I ever made. It is pricey but well worth it. Holds style for days, NO FRIZZ

My daughter has the thickest hair and I can dry her hair and less than four minutes max! This machine/hairdryer is absolutely amazing and I would recommend to anyone, thin or thick hair to buy!

The BEST blow dryer EVER!!!!

Received this blow dryer as a BD gift....one of the best presents I ever received. I have not used a flat iron since the purchase. My hair is smooth and frizz free. I would highly recommend this product....well worth the price

I love this machine. It is light and east to use. The magnetic feature for the attachments is great. Too many times I have had to trash a blow dryer because the attachments wont stay on. I love the extra long and very sturdy cord too. My hair has so much body now and the shine is amazing. Thank you Dyson for another great product.

Two things I find awesome... One it is SO quiet, it doesn't wake up the family early in the morning and Two, drys my hair quickly and the tools are super easy to change!

Great Blowdryer

I bought this a month ago and at first I was not to thrilled with it.
First I think the air vent should be in a different location than in the handle because when drying you hair your hand tends to slip downward closing the vents. Second the diffuser left my hair all puffy not a thing you want. It did not leave my hair with curls but it looked more like a blow out.
Finally I decided to give it another shot before I returned it and used it to dry my hair straight and I was amazed how good my hair was, no kinkiness once I blowed it out and the hair was soft and shiny.
I also think that the attachment to dry you hair should be a bit wider in order to cover more hair.
