This thing is amazing!! I have ALOT of hair and dread having to blow dry my hair because it usually takes me almost half an hour to dry it! But when I first tried this Dyson hair dryer... i dried my hair in 10 minutes!!! I couldn't believe it! I am so happy with this product and definitely would recommend it to anyone !

Smoothing nozzle is awesome!!

I bought this after reading other reviews. The smoothing nozzle transformed my hair! I have very thick, coarse hair so was very impressed. It was not as quiet as I thought it was going to be from what I read on one review but it's not louder than the other well-known brand I was using. Using the diffuser was not that great and was a little disappointed so I do revert to my old dryer when I want to do that.
Pros: Coarse, Dry, Thick

Excellent Blow Dryer

I got this as a Christmas gift and absolutely love it. It works great and is much quieter then regular blow dryers.

Received the Dyson Supersonic for Christmas. I absolutely love it so far. I have very thick, coarse, wavy/curly hair. I had a very nice hair dryer before I got the Supersonic and while it worked fine...it still took 15ish minutes to rough dry my hair. And about 30-45 minutes to style from start to finish. With the Supersonic, I can rough dry my hair in less than five minutes, and style start to finish in about 20. If I'm just diffusing, it only takes me about 5-8 minutes. This is a curly girls dream come true. I love the magnetic attachments. It makes changing them while styling SO easy!

Fast & Quiet, but still getting used to it.

It definitely dries my curly hair faster than any other dryer and it is quiet. However, still getting used to it. I feel like it kind of dries it too fast, leaving it not as smooth or soft as my professional dryer. I think I still have to work with it and adjust to using it. For now I am still using my old dryer on the front pieces to smooth and style them and the Dyson on the rest of the head. My daughter has long straight hair and for her hair it is fantastic. I can dry it in 5 minutes or less! As I work with it I am sure I will like it more. All good things take time to learn and adjust to.

Amazing!

My husband purchased this hair dryer as a present for me. What a nice surprise when I turned it on and could carry on a conversation and not have to speak way up to be heard. It is light, well balanced and dries hair in half the time of conventional dryers. This is a must have for all stylists or just to treat yourself. You won't be sorry you did!

Amazing Dryer But...

I am super super in love with this dryer! As a professional licensed cosmetology instructor and salon owner, I can feel and see a difference when using this blow dryer! I does, however, need a nozzle extender/ Barrel extender to drap hair over when doing brush work. Other than that, so happy and proud to be an owner!
