Although the dryer does do that effectively and quickly, suggestions for styling short hair are non existent. Also, most of the attachments are not at all useful even though one cannot purchase the dryer without including them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this little over a month ago. This is the best hairdryer I've ever owned. It came with a nice case and several attachments that go on easy. My daughter came home to see me and used it and she loves it too. You won’t be disappointed and it’s worth every penny.

Had it 2 weeks now. It is heavy and the cord is thick and a bit clumsy to move around. I got it for the noise avoidance, and I do like that feature.
