Great dryer!

I'd definitely recommend this dryer over all other I have tried. Each year, I seem to go through one very expensive dryer after another. The Dyson dryer seems like it will last. I love the power and the magnetic attachments--I can move and switch them our quickly without burning my fingertips. I love the blowing power, too. I have thick curly hair that I like to blow out straight. I love how simple, quick, and easy it is to clean out the lint filter. It will never clog or burn out the motor--genius design!
The cons are two: I like to hold the handle at the bottom, where the filter is, so that's a bummer. I have to hold it higher, for some reason that's not comfortable. Also, this dyer does get hot enough to burn my hair plenty, so that part of the advertising isn't exactly spot on. I start with it on the highest heat setting then have to turn it down and then back up during the course of the blow out to not burn my hair. However, this is something I've had to do with other high end dyers too, so it's not like it's a new issue with hair dryers in general.
Overall, I love the dyer and am sad when I travel and can't take it with me.

My husband bought this for my daughter and I for Christmas (I would have never spent that much $, I'm a "saver") but WOW....I think we will keep it, it is absolutely amazing.

Dries my hair in record time!

Now that I have this supersonic hair dryer I no longer dread washing and drying my hair. My hair is very thick and takes forever to dry but this dryer works so well that I can get it dried and styled quickly. Also, it's easy to use-obviously it was thoroughly researched. The buttons are in exactly the best place. The price is worth it!

The 15 minute blowout

So worth the investment! I can dry and style my hair in fifteen minutes and usually it takes 30 minutes! The snap-in magnetic attachments are easy to change and its lighter than my usual blow dryer. Give it a shot! Worth every Penny!

Bought the Dyson a month or so ago and all I can say is "I LOVE IT". The best hairdryer I have ever used. Bought one for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it also. I use it on our schnauzer after his bath and if he could talk, he would say he loves it too. Ok -- now you must invent a great dyson curling iron.

Almost pefect -review from a hairdresser

this dryer gets a lot of use -no doubt this dryer will blow you away with its velocity instead of super hot heat like most blowdyers -the heat and settings are definitely sufficient. I only wish the nose was a bit longer for two reasons -to tuck it under my arm in between sections and to fit in most cradles when not in use . Maybe Dyson could include a cradle considering the hefty price ! I wouldn't recommend to everyone but those with a lot of hair NEED this ! It's impressive smoothing concentrators are held on magnetically & work well as well as the diffuser ! As loud as some others -light weight so easier to use for hours! WELL DONE DYSON!

Blown Away

I considered cutting my hair because of all the fuss, however, the Dyson is amazing. I have natural curl but when using the Dyson and it's tools, my hair dries quickly and without fuss I get a beautiful blow out without fly aways! Looks salon styled in half the time!

My wife wanted a new hair dryer and the videos (prior to launch) made this seem like an ideal replacement. It was. Without completely nerding out, I will say this product revolutionizes the hair dryer.
