The dry time for my hair is amazing. No more 45 minutes in the bathroom just for my hair! The only thing that I would say is you have to be careful with the way you hold it. Because it blows out hair so fast your hair can get tangled if you are not careful. Other than that its love at first sight. I'm so happy I bought it.

I love this thing. Yes, it's expensive as all get-out, but it was a splurge for the new year. I had heard that it wasn't hot enough, but it's fine for me. My hair dries so much faster, and without as many frizzies. I hope they lower the price at some time. I'm going to recommend it to my stylist. I also love how quiet it is! No more waking up the house with the hairdryer. It's a little heavier than most dryers, and the cord is long and bulky. I suppose that's something to do with the engineering. Other than those two things, it is a great investment. Thank you Lord Dyson, on behalf of all of us curly-headed people who dry their hair every morning; this is the best thing since sliced bread.

I've used this for a month now. I love Dyson technology so I was intrigued with a Dyson hairdryer. My past hairdryers were so awkward and noisy. This one is light, quieter, the noise is non irritating and so easy to control and I love the magnetic attachments. My hair looks nice and is not frizzy nor does it burn my scalp. Yesterday I decided to actually time how long it took to dry and style my hair. I even dried it more than damp dry at roots which is what I normally do. I have thick medium length somewhat curly gray hair. It took 5 minutes. I was really surprised. I'm 100 per cent happy with this hair dryer and so glad I bought it despite the high price. I would like to add here that 2016 was a big Dyson year for me as I bought a Dyson handheld vac and liked it so much I bought the superlatively wonderful V8 stick vac and a fan heater too and super love them all. Dyson technology makes my life easier and better and cleaner and now great hair. Keep up the great innovation technology and thanks Dyson for all your efforts and wonderful products and great customer service too.

Wish the vent was not in the bottom part of the handle which is where I want to put my hand when holding to use it.

I am a grandma with long hair. It used to take forever to dry my hair. Now it takes less than 5 minutes. The noise level is still there, but unlike traditional hair dryers, it is not offensive to the grandkids. I do not use the attachments, so I can not comment on them.

I have very thick hair.The Dyson Supersonic has cut my drying time to less than ten minutes,versus twenty five minutes! My hair is so smooth I don't even have to straighten it.
