My husband bought me the Dyson hair dryer for X-mas and I love it. Yes it is pricey but definitely worth it. It is quiet, light weight, great design and the attachments are magnetic.....making it easy to use. You will see the results in smooth, shiny hair. We own a 2nd home and my husband bought me a 2nd Dyson hair dryer for Valentines Day, now I have one in each place.
I have naturally curly hair and blow dry everyday.... Never thought my curls could look so good. Bye bye frizz, it used to take 30+ minutes to dry my thick hair. It takes 13 minutes now my curls have structure and bounce, can't believe how many compliments I receive. It surprises me how many people actually touch my ringlets they cannot help it. Thank you Dyson for reinventing the Blow Dryer... Just as you did the vacuum.
This is by far the best hair dryer out there. The only thing I would change is the weight of the cord which pulls on your arm as you use it. Besides that, the weight distribution of the hairdryer itself is great!
This dryer is phenomenal. Dries quickly and is so easy to use because of the magnetic attachments which allow you to change the direction of air flow easily, so it's easy on the arms. The fryer leaves hair smooth and shiny. The heavy duty cord does not tangle, the filter cleans easily. It's Just well designed in every way. Was skeptical of the price, but it is worth it.
I purchased my Dyson hair dryer about 3 months ago (in fuchsia of course - what a fun color!). I reserved writing a review until now because I wanted to fully vet the device. Note, I have thick chin length hair that absorbs water like a sponge. The positives of this hair dryer are MANY:
- it has cut my drying time in 1/2 (yay!) AND this is on a low heat setting
- it is quiet. I can listen to a podcast while drying my hair - crazy!
- it has given my hair a noticeable shine.
- the air intake is easy to clean.
- the attachments stay on.
The negatives are few. I the dryer has a long cord but it could be a bit longer as I rest the rectangular block on the countertop (this is part of the cord mechanism). This block adds overall weight to the dryer and I think it would be heavy to travel with. It was expensive. But if you want the Cadillac of hair dryers, this is for you. Overall, I love it and strongly recommend this dryer.
I purchased this dryer almost a month ago. I wash my hair every other day at the least so I get plenty of use from the dryer. It is fantastic. It dries hair more quickly, you don't get hot and sweaty, your army doesn't hurt, it is less damaging to your hair, it is much quieter than a regular dryer, and my hair just feels different when I'm done drying it. I don't have to straighten it as much as I used to. It is worth the money :)
