Light weight quick dry time

I just purchased the Dyson Supersonic but was very hesitant because of the price. I'm very glad I bought it. I have long thick hair and it cut my dry time to over half. What took 15-20 minutes now takes me 5. Great quality and I love the attachments.

Blow drying went from dreaded to enjoyable!

I used to dread blow drying my hair. I used to devise ways (styles, products and excuses) to NOT have to do that. Now, I almost want to shower again just so I can use my Dyson again! My hair is mid-back length, color-treated, naturally "scraggly" and quite thick yet baby-fine; and, I live in a hot, humid climate. I can't believe I spent so much $$$ on a hair dryer. A hair dyer! But, I have not been disappointed and this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. With my first three uses of the Dyson getting ready for work this week, I have gone from soaking wet hair after shampoo and condition (then spray blow-dry product and comb-through), to soft, silky, perfectly straight hair in... 4 to 6 minutes! Are you kidding me?! That used to take me 20 to 30 minutes of laborious effort, separating my hair into sections and using a flat iron! This hair dryer has literally removed one of my "first-world" stresses from my life! lol, Thank you Dyson!

I just bought this and used it once. I am pleased with the results. My hair dried quickly and was soft and silky to the touch. It is light enough to handle easily with my Arthritic hands.

I purchased my 1st dryer during the pre-order launch. I could never go back to another dryer. Since then, I purchased one for my mother for Christmas & a second one for myself to stay in my travel bag.
The heat & speed of air flow can take a few days to get used to, depending upon your hair type. If you have challenging hair to dry or looking to cut time flatironing, this dryer is well worth the cost.
Pros: Coarse, Colored, Dry, Frizzy, Thick

I never thought I would spend this much money on a hair dryer. However, after reading the reviews I decided to go for it. I have been using my dryer for about 2 weeks. A friend of mine who I had not seen in about 3 weeks saw me the other day and commented, "Wow, did you do something different to your hair? It looks so good!" The only thing I have done differently is use the Dyson dryer. I have not changed any styling products or my technique. This dryer really is making a different in my hair style- it not only dries my hair more quickly but the style HOLDS much better all day, even with the humidity in FL. I can now get ready by using the dryer only- I no longer need the other tools such as the straightening hot brush or flat iron. It is crazy expensive but so far it has been worth it!

Sexy beast of a machine

I saved up and bought this machine a few weeks ago after a significant amount of homework on why its worth it. Since I am pretty tight fisted, I only talked about it for weeks... oh the Dyson blowdryer... to the point my husband jokingly accused me of having "fantasies about Mr. Dyson because only he thinks of ALL a woman's needs".
The Supersonic does not disappoint and is the 3rd Dyson I own. Seriously though, blowdrying your hair suddenly becomes AN EXPERIENCE. So let's start with the cons.
CONS
-It is so powerful and so fast, that it takes some getting used to. Whatever way you blow dry your hair, that is the way your hair will go... in just a few seconds so I've had to figure out the hand positioning when I round brush or diffuse more carefully.
-It is so efficient, you're almost sad to put it down and reposition another piece of hair.
-As fancy as it is, you might get nervous throwing it around with all of your other hair tools.
-It is strongly magnetic, so I can't put it over my pacemaker (not that I would, but the instructions said so)
-If you have fine hair, it will smooth it out, which can leave parts flatter until you get the hang of it, use a round brush, or velcro rollers.
PROS
-NO static hair
-My hair ALREADY looks healthy and has less breakage
-You easily get exactly the temperature you want
-POWER (and degrees of it too)
-QUIET
-Great attachments that do exactly what they promise
-The DIFFUSER (gorgeous ringlets in curly hair)
-Weight (even though this is not the lightest machine the weight distribution makes all the difference)
-SLEEK/SEXY design (so much so that a friend thought it might be a highgrade adult toy)
-SHINE: both me and my two girls, its almost like a different hair color after. I think it has to do with the ion technology- don't know how but its magical.
- Length: I'm a bleached blonde growing my hair out and people have noticed that it's growing faster. My hair is happy with the lower level of damage I'm sure.
-FILTER: this is where you get the bang for your buck. I mean how many blowdryers just burn right out eventually. I swear this machine will last till I have grandkids.
-CUSTOMER SUPPORT: Dyson's customer support is spectacular. I love being able to call and ask questions about my machines or to see if a repair is needed. Funny enough, I've never needed one because Dyson has usually thought of the solution before hand.
So yup. My "fantasy" is a reality. Love my Dysons and recommend them 100%.
