Wish I bought one sooner!

I was skeptical that this blow-dryer would be worth it and I am so impressed by my Dyson Supersonic Professional. It is quiet, FAST and light-weight. I love the magnetic attachments. They connect so well and strong. I also love the diffuser! I really do wish I bought it sooner and I hope others in my salon buy it because it is so quiet. It makes the salon so much more enjoyable to be in.
Pros: Coarse, Coloured

i purchased this hair dryer because i hate waiting so long for my hair to dry while i sweat from the heat with my usual dryer, and because i have a toy poodle who i bath once a week and his hair is thick and takes forever to dry, i tested it first on my dog and all i can say is it is now worth every cent, i absolutely love how fast it dried his hair and he looks gorgeous. The other reason i finally purchased the dryer is because it now comes with a two year guarantee making me feel happier.... thanks Dyson

extraordinary design

I have not yet explored all its possibilities because I rarely style with a brush but rather use curling gels and dry with the air diffuser attachment. The redistribution of the weight (motor) allows the dryer to be held at all angles close to the head with no fear of damage to the hair, since the second innovation is the automatic temperature adjusting mechanism that prevents the dryer from burning the hair cuticle. WOW. The on/off and cold-shot buttons are ergonomically positioned together for quick access, which doesn't necessitate re-positioning of the unit in one's hand. It's quiet-- even at full blast. There are 3 variable settings for heat as well as for air power independent of one another, located above the handle which prevents your fingers from making those changes inadvertently. The power cord is extra long and the gauge of it is similar to that of a vacuum cleaner which screams safety to me. There is not one feature I would change. The housing, which is a gray matte finish material, looks both industrial and elegant with the contrasting colors. All-in-all, a very smart machine and smart-looking ! What's next-- a cordless version!?! GO DYSON!

I decided to splurge and buy mine when they were first only available as a pre-order because I was impressed with the marketing video. Not like me as a rule to buy from that sort of advertisement, but I have long, thick, wavy/curly hair subject to frizz and using even the best professional dryers had always been a 35-to-45-minute chore that is really hard on my shoulder. I have not been disappointed! It's so lightweight and I can do a straight blowout in 20 minutes and eliminate the flat iron entirely. If I go curly with the diffuser (and a ton of product) I can do it in 10. I was so impressed I took it to my salon for my stylist to try. While she found it a little hard to manipulate because of the way she holds a dryer, two of her colleagues were so impressed they each bought one themselves. I can honestly say this is the best styling implement I have ever owned.

I do like it, easy to handle .cord a bit heavy.great power and not drying to the hair.clients love it.

The motor in the handle, seems to work for me. Other brands seem to wear out my shoulder gets painful .love to use it. Absolutely great on curly long hair .Bleached hair does not friz out either.
