I received this hair dryer as a gift and it is absolutely amazing. I would have never spent this kind of money on a hair dryer but it is worth every penny! I have thick hair and it dries my hair quickly. I loved this hair dryer so much, I bought 2 as gifts for my daughter-in-laws for Christmas.

I have wavy hair that I like to smooth with a round brush blowout. Over time, my hair has gotten damaged from repeated heat use. I wanted a blow dryer that would do the job without the heat damage. I had my eye on this dryer for a couple of years but hesitated to buy because of the price. I should have just gone ahead and bought it a long time ago. It is worth every penny. I blow dry my hair until damp. It takes just a couple of minutes. Next, I use the wider of the two smoothing attachments to blow dry my hair while I use a round brush to pull and smooth my hair. My hair holds a blow out for days and is frizz free and shiny. I have noticed that the damage to my hair is healing. I love having a dryer that gives my hair fantastic body, shine and lots less damage, if any. It is lightweight, easy to manipulate and hold, and I don't get all sweaty while using it. When I want to go with my natural curl, I use the diffuser and get shiny, natural waves in just minutes. It's much more quiet too! I love it.

Great Dryer!

As a salon owner there are plenty of important things to think about when buying equipment. Every company has it's pros and cons, from speed to sound, heat and ions, unicorn dust who knows I've heard it all.
The Dyson dryer does multiple things well. First, customers love it they know Dyson, it looks and feels cool and it stands out from other dryers. Second, it is light weight compact size and decently quiet for the air output. Third, the air intake is not coming from the back making hair not becoming displaced, sucked into the dryer, or produce that burnt hair smell when one gets inside. Finally, the nozzles are easy to change without grabbing an overheated nozzle. Since they are magnets technically you can create and alter your own nozzles utilizing 3d printing which is amazing!
There are some cons of course, they can become overheated with long extended use. Also, if you are one of those stylist who never changes their dryer filters (which you should be doing daily with any dryer) this one will make you do it and can seem like more work.
Overall this is a great dryer, with an amazing look that is attached to a national respected brand clients can relate to.
As a professional we all know the truth nothing is perfect in this field, and not everything is for everyone. But this dryer is a must have tool!

I bought this thinking there’s no way a hair dryer can be this great....well, I was wrong. My hair drys in half the time and comes out feeling smooth and silky. So light to hold and I love the attachments..it’s amazing.

I have thick, curly, shoulder length hair, that takes for ever to dry. I was hesitant to purchase ( price), but I did. Wow, dries my hair within 30 seconds ( wet), 15 seconds ( damp) and no friz. Love, love it !
