A worthwhile investment

I've been using this hair dryer for over a year now and absolutely love it. I have long hair (almost to my elbows) that is slightly wavy and color treated. One of my pet peeves is frizzy hair; with other hair dryers I'd have to use smoothing products and then really work at it to keep the frizziness at bay. With this Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, I can skip the products, blow dry in a short amount of time, and end up with no frizz! It's been a game changer for me. I also appreciate that the magnetic accessories are a breeze to change out. And best of all, this hair dryer is moderately quiet, and definitely quieter than my old Conair. My Dyson is kept in its special gold presentation case under the sink and I haven't had any issues with it, except for a small hairline crack at the back. Since this does not affect the workings of the machine, it does not bother me.

Like everyone else, I love it!!! I’m hopeful that the COLD SHOT BUTTON will eventually be in the FRONT for easier access!!

Great to use, didn’t last.

I was so excited when I started using my supersonic professional Dyson dryer. After six months it was overheating and Dyson did a great job replacing it. But is soon as it was out of warranty it completely died and they would even give me a discount on a replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Big Product Design Fail for the Big Cost

I have been eyeing the Dyson hair dryers for a long time but could not bring myself to justify the cost. My husband then decided to surprise me with a red edition one for my birthday. I love so many things about this hair dryer. It is light, dries quickly, and has easily removable attachments that are time savers. However, there are some major product design misses that I think should have been considered a little bit more considering the high price tag of this product. First of all the battery pack on the cord is very bulky heavy and can be annoying. Second, the filter cover is way too easy to twist off. I find myself accidentally twisting it off as I I'm using the hair dryer. Third and finally, I am greatly saddened by the carrying case. There is no way to fit all the attachments in the box, in particular the diffuser. You can manipulate everything else into the box but in no way shape or form can you fit the diffuser attachment. as someone with curly hair I primarily would want to travel with the diffuser and I find it frustrating that they didn't take into consideration making the box just slightly bigger to accommodate everything. For a luxury item I expected it to have as much attention to detail as the packaging box it came in.

I just received my blow dryer today. After using it only 1 time, I can tell you it is worth EVERY penny. I have been wanting one for awhile now. I finally took the plunge. It's definitely costly but well worth every cent! My hair is double processed with bleach & color so I often fight the dry frizzy hair. I cannot tell you how happy I am with the results after using it just one time. I have spent a lot of money on blow dryers over the years. NOTHING compares to this one. Dyson...this is a MASTERPIECE! Not only did my hair dry quickly, but it dried extremely smooth. I do use a round brush when styling but I can tell an extreme difference compared to a normal blow dryer. You will NOT be disappointed! I love all the attachments and LOVE that they are magnetic. To boot, I LOVE the look.....I love EVERYTHING about this!! I am so happy I FINALLY made this purchase after a very long debate with myself. From this point forward, I will never use anything different. I am hooked!! :) Thank you so much for creating this AWESOME Blow dryer!!

I purchased the Dyson Super Sonic hair dryer about a month ago. It’s a powerful dryer and sleek in design. I love the hot and cold settings and easy to shut on and off.
However it still takes a long time to dry my hair and now my hair becomes more static when using the dryer. It makes it more difficult to curl under because my hair flies everywhere. I have
to wet each section of my hair and re-dry. I use mouse before drying, but this still does not help.
I would recommend this to a friend!
