Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're so sorry to hear that you had such a disappointing experience with your Dyson Supersonic hair dryer. While everyone is different, we certainly wouldn't expect hair to feel dry/brittle after use. As you may know, Our hair is an extension of our blood system, so medications, stress, surgeries, etc can cause issues with your hair. If your hair is colored regularly or even over moisturized this may also be contributing. We would recommend visiting with your hair stylist to see if a neutralizing shampoo may help or help with other tips on getting your hair to a healthy level.

One quick tip I would recommend, as outlined in our Dyson Supersonic support videos, will be using the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. Please also note that each heat and airflow setting is designed to provide varying outcomes depending on the style you have in mind for any particular drying session.
