I bought one month ago, very usefulness and user Friendly, reducing my hair loss during blowing hair, I like it very much. Fabulous colour that I want and a box for keeping the dyson air dryer easy to carry out anywhere any suitable for my whole family to use it.

Not what I hoped for

I was super excited to try this, expecting big things but was totally disappointed. Not easy to use at all and although it’s light the way that it blows out air makes it so your hair goes EVERYWHERE. I’m no professional but I have long thick frizzy hair that in 20 years of learning how to manage it I’ve never experienced the frizz I have after using the dyson. My hair had zero movement, frizzy and just overall big in all the wrong ways. I looked like Lord Farquad from Shrek.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We were sorry to read your review of the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, and to know that you've had such a disappointing experience thus far in your use. There are a few different things you can do to change the method in which you dry your hair. To begin with the unit is designed with a type of thermal control which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair; this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. In light of this, it may be necessary to use the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When applying these tips to your everyday styling you should start to see a difference in the texture of your hair.

Wow, love it!

This is the best hair dryer I have ever had! Over the years I have gone through MANY hair dryers and this one is so quiet and powerful. I cannot say anything about durability yet since I just got it. But I have a Dyson vacuum that has lasted through 10 years of rough use and it still works great. So hopefully this will be just as durable

This has been on my wish list for over a year since my hairdresser began using it on my regular appointments. I absolutely love everything about this dryer. I can already see a difference in my hair in just two short weeks of use. Well worth the money!

Couldn’t wait to open the package and get started. Currently contemplating returning it. This was the only Christmas present I bought myself and I’m so relieved I bought it for me and didn’t give it as a gift!
Complete disappointment. Underpowered, unwieldy and unbelievably heavy! Underwhelmed by this product and so unpleasantly surprised as I am pretty pleased with my other Dyson appliances. Oh well...can’t win ‘em all. I was so looking forward to it. It goes against my grain to complain and speak out critically. I stand by my motto if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at but this sentiment is worthy of broadcast to spare others from wasting their money. Come on Dyson, step it up!

I'm happy to inform you that Dyson Supersonic hair dryers features 3 different attachments - a smoothing nozzle, styling concentrator, as well as a diffuser for use with achieving varying hair styles. Dyson Supersonic also features 4 precise heat control settings to also aid in drying, styling hair, as well as locking in your hair style. While the smoothing nozzle works well with working sections of your hair with a gentle airflow that can be used with just your hand, styling hair can be done with the styling concentrator as well as a brush.
You might appreciate that the technology behind Dyson Supersonic is quite revolutionary and it is not like anything you might be used to.
