My husband bought this for me for Christmas and I never thought that a hair dryer could make that much of a difference but it is better in every way! It is amazing!

Speed drying but a trade-off

This does dry hair super-fast, as advertised. It’s cut my drying time in half, easily. However, it’s hard to navigate thick, long, curly hair with such a small, shallow diffuser. It’s also pretty hot, even on lowest heat, so I have to keep it as far away from my hair as practical. Due to these features, I lose some definition/gain a little frizz in the process. I’d rather have the drying speed in winter, not sure how I’ll feel in warmer weather.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Because of the intelligent heat control, there isn't a need for tons of product, including heat protectant. We always recommend minimal to no product to avoid excess frizziness or a straw-like texture.

I have used my Dyson only twice yet, but is so much better than my old dryer. The drying time is so fast. And I like how it sets my curls after a wash&go. The diffuser really distributes the heat well. I’m so glad that I made the investment. It’s well worth it.
