Great Hair Dryer, but Clunky Cord

OK, the hair dryer part of this is awesome! Truly the best out there, or at least that I've tried. Effective and quiet. Love this aspect of the Supersonic. What is maddening about this is the cord. It's like a the thick cord you'd have on a power tool, like a circular saw. The is also this clunky recatngular electrical part in the middle of it. For as much as I love the hair drying part of this, I loathe the cord. What were they thinking when they designed this?! Sure hope they change and improve this, but if they do, they're just too costly to just go out and buy another one. Be prepared to be frustrated by the cord, but you'll love the hair drying performance!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Knew I’d love it but was happily surprised.

I have very thick hair. I knew I needed to splurge on this beauty. The low noise was my main attraction but after using the dryer I have been wowed by the nozzles. Who knew they would turn my amateur blow dry into a pro blowout. Lots of movement. Faster drying time. Less frizz. The only thing I would improve is the cool air button—I use it to cool a shape before letting it go—I keep touching the on/off button instead. It’s not in an economic position for me. I must say I first felt guilty about spendy so much on a dryer but now....I have zero regrets.

I am very happy with this hair dryer. It is very quite and dries my hair very fast, leaving my hair with a smooth finish. It is the BEAST of all hair dryers!

Worth the investment!

For the first week after I started using the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer Professional, people kept asking me if I had just gotten a haircut - "your hair looks so smooth and shiny!" Using this tool, I cut not only my drying time in half but also my styling time. Handling this dryer is also much easier than traditional hair dryers, and is much easier to manipulate. My hair looks and feels healthier and I now enjoy drying my hair, which I used to hate. Thank you, Dyson!

I bought this dryer 3 weeks ago, I was hesitant because of the cost but I wanted more define healthier hair. So far the past 3 times I have used it, I am very pleased with the dryer and my hair results.

I’ve had my hair dryer for 3 weeks and love it. I can tell the difference between my old dryer and the Dyson. It has less frizz and it stays looking good days longer.
