Love/Annoy Relationship

I love what the Dyson Supersonic does for my hair! It feels soft and manageable after blowdrying - I can even closely replicate my stylist's blowout and no longer feel like I'm
singeing my hair with each attempt.
What greatly annoys me about my Dyson Dryer is the cord. Whenever I try to put my dryer back on the stand, it constantly falls off because the cord is just so clunky. Due to this, it's fallen many times and I've only had it for less than a month. This worries me as I'm afraid with each small fall I'm shortening the life of my expensive blow dryer. As a result, I no longer use the stand and have to keep the attachments in a separate bag. Not the most efficient but it will hopefully prevent the dryer from any potential damage from these continuous falls.

Puts other dryers to shame

I received this as a gift and it is the best thing I’ve owned! It dries my hair without overheating. My hair feels lighter after a blowout and immediately cooled.

I do love this dryer, and while it definitely helps with my flyaways and smooths my hair, it doesn’t eliminate them completely. It also doesn’t significantly reduce my drying time like I thought it would. It’s a solid hair dryer, but not what I was expecting for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I absolutely love my dyson dryer!! It is extremely powerful and helps cut drying time in half!! It’s lightweight and sleek so easy to hold and keep control without your arm feeling like dead weight after a blowout!!

Extremely dry!

I purchased my hairdryer a couple of weeks ago. I am still getting used to the different levels (speed/heat), but it seems to be extremely drying. I don't hold it any closer nor does it seem any hotter than my previous product. I love the shape, weight and the cold shot button placement and ease of use. I have very thick, naturally curly hair. I usually dry in a smooth style.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The technology behind Dyson Supersonic is quite revolutionary and it is not like anything you might be used to. It can take some time to get used to the different settings, features and attachments Dyson supersonic provides during your drying session, not to mention your normal way or habit of drying your hair with traditional hair dryers.
While everyone is different, we certainly wouldn't expect hair to become dried out as a result of using Dyson Supersonic. The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer will feature intelligent heat control, which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. This helps prevent extreme heat damage and protects hair's natural shine. It also will feature negative ions to help prevent hair from becoming frizzy. One quick tip I would recommend, as outlined in our Dyson Supersonic support videos, will be using the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair, this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. Please also note that each heat and airflow setting is designed to provide varying outcomes depending on the style you have in mind for any particular drying session.
