Curly hair game changer

I never thought a blow dryer could be such a game changer, but here we are. The dyson has cut my diffusing time from 45min-hour+ (and sometimes it would still a little wet and I just give up on drying) to 22 minutes! Yes, 22 minutes even while playing with the speed and heat settings. My hair is completely dry and ready to SOTC. Im not sure what I’m going to do with all this saved time!

Exceeds expectations thick hair

I had a lot of hair, was born 11 weeks preemie w a full head of hair. It thinned considerably five years ago when I went through cancer treatment, but fear not came back even thicker. I’ll be honest it’s a chore so I mostly air dry my hair but when I use the dryer I want it to be efficient and quality and Dyson really hits the mark. I had a chi previous and then nothing for many years. The air wrap dryer is great for a rough dry but I decided I really did want the full dryer and I have enjoyed it quite a lot. I appreciate the smoothing technology that makes my colored hair look healthier.

More reliable than full price unit

I purchased a new unit for my wife. My daughters constantly borrowed it, so I bought them a refurbished unit. My wife's randomly shuts down, however the refurbished unit has never had an issue. When my older daughter goes to college, I will buy another refurbished unit for her. The reduction in noise alone is worth the money, but they all love it.

Love it - when I use it!

My husband uses this everyday. I’m too lazy. I’ll let my naturally curly/wavy hair air-dry and call it a day.
As summer in ATL comes on, I wash it, air dry it, and snatch it back into a bun with a clip over it.
The few times that I’ve recently used the hair dryer, it reminds me how much I like it! It tames my wild hair, but still not as much as when my salon uses their Dyson to dry my hair.
This is totally on me. I’m too lazy to spend the time needed to get my mid-back length “blonde”, brown-reddish and naturally grayish coarse hair dry and styled properly.
I exclusively use Aveda products. Have watched a ton of their videos, but still give up before my hair is totally dry. I’ve bought brushes recommended by my stylist, but, I still end up with my hair ends sticking straight out on the ends, versus the curled under look I was going for. Of course, I’ve used the brushes to dry under, hit them with the cool air setting to ‘set’ the under curl, with poor results.
I actually get better results when I just dry my hair straight back. I do this when I just want it dry, and plan to wear it in a bun/clip.
It sounds like I have more issues than not. When I take my time and blow dry my hair in sections, it comes out really well. I don’t have that kind of patience on a frequent basis.
I’m about to move to FL with a pool in my yard, which I plan to use every day. God only knows what my hair will look like, though I see a lot of ‘buns’ in my future.
Bottom line, I do really like this dryer, when I use it properly!

Bought refurbished

I went back and forth for so long on this purchase because even refurbished it's a lot of money. How great can it really be, right? It's a blow dryer! My dry time is down to cut in half and my curls look better than ever. Definitely worth it.
