Issues with it staying on

I have both the professional and regular dryer. I had issues with the regular dryer not staying on because it thought the filter was dirty despite it being just cleaned. Unfortunately I am having the same challenge with the new one so much so that I am no longer using it at work despite it being brand new because I can't get it to run consistently.
When I try to use it I have to switch to another dryer to finish my client. I have only been able to successfully dry about 4 clients completely without it shutting off while drying them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We would certainly not expect the machine to shut off without the power switch being engaged. I'm happy to inform you that, while we don't expect any problems to occur, if you purchase your machine new and from an authorized retailer Dyson will back your purchase with a free 2-year guarantee. Worth every outrageous penny

I love this hairdryer. My hairdresser noticed immediately that something was happening with my hair (shinier, more healthy). I like that it’s lighter (I’m an old lady), and not as loud as regular hairdryers. It also dries in 1/2 the time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Speed and brilliant hair!!

I have started using this 3 weeks ago and had my doubts as how much can a hair dryer evolve? Well I completely understood why all the hype! I dry my hair in 20 min and I have a LOT of hair! Normally 45min. My hair looks super brilliant! And I did not realize how noisy my previous dryer was until this one is very decent :) i can put my youtube videos on while drying! Well this is a totally worth tech advancement!
