Just Like A Salon Blowout

I was looking at a better hair dryer because I absolutely dread drying my hair. My husband was getting annoyed because I would wash my hair every 4 days or so. He doesn’t understand dry shampoo. He also doesn’t understand the agony of thick frizzy hair that is still wet in the morning even after drying / trying to style it for 20+ minutes the night before. So….
I thought I was getting another certain highly recommended hair dryer and then this shows up.
Where has this been my entire life?! Oh, wait, sitting on the shelf and being admired from afar because of the cost. Personally, I would never spend this kind of money on a hairdryer for myself. I spend on others. But my husband has always given me the best and this is THE BEST. My hair is frizzy, coarse, thick, full of crazy kinks even after I flat iron sometimes. Last night I had my entire head of hair dried in approximately six minutes flat. Took my straightener to touch up (only touch up) and bam. All done in about 10 minutes. And the best thing…. I swear I just came from the salon!!
But….. (always a but, but this is a small one)… Dyson, why such a long heavy cord? We have a Dyson vacuum also and the cord more difficult to manage than my hair was pre Dyson dryer. Why?? Just why?!
Love the dryer though!!

The dryer has terrific attachments to allow me to style my hair as ‘the mood fits’. It also has a powerful blower so it doesn’t take long to dry my hair

Too heavy.

I’m a licensed professional hairdresser, i was looking for a very light, with a hot and fast airflow blow dryer. After using the dyson dryer for a week now, I found that the cord by itself is very heavy and the cold button is not located in a good place. It should be where your thumb sits not on the top of the handle this very inconvenient as well as uncomfortable. It does dry well but it’s way over priced.

The filter has been improved, and features a cleaning brush and an intelligent prompt light to clean the filter. The Professional concentrator has been re-engineered. The wider and thinner nozzle focuses airflow for precision styling. The power cable is also 2' longer, allowing for more reach in a salon environment. The magnetic attachments are also 2x stronger than on our consumer model.

Faster drying time

My wife loves this machine! She says it dries her hair much faster and it helps keep her hair straight even with higher humidity.
