I’ve been a hairstylist for 34 yrs. I’ve tried many brands of blow dryers. Dyson is by far the Best. Everything about it is incredible. The size , the power, attachments, low noise level, all amazing .
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overheated after 15min of use

It overheated the first time I used it. Such a disappointment.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. I'm sorry to hear that in your initial use, you found that your Supersonic™ hair dryer overheated. This can be due to a few reasons; keeping the plastic wrap intact upon delivery, or holding your hand over the vent at the bottom of the handle. If the unit is used in an incorrect voltage outlet, or if using an extension cord or power strip, this can also cause issues with overheating. While we never do expect issues like this to occur, we'd be very happy to go over your dryer with you, to make sure that it's performing as it should. First, a disclaimer, I have fine hair that is presently cut in a pixie. This dryer was too powerful for my hair. The coolest setting was fine but the lowest fan speed was still so powerful I had no time to style my hair. Also, I would prefer a smaller more maneuverable dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This hair dryer is a step above the rest! I’d highly recommended it. I had an issue with my diffuser attachment, called customer service who where really helpful and received a replacement a couple of days later!
