It’s a great blower , dries super fast. I just bought a model wich has only 3 parts . No brush or comb, but I’m really happy with my inversion.

Quietly effective

I love this dryer. I feel that my hair isn't getting fried, it takes half the time, I can have a conversation whilst drying my hair and it looks great at the end. I think it has helped with my frizz as well. Worth the money!

Best money I spent.

I was uneasy about the price but I tend to use a hair dryer more then a few times a week so I said why not! I have 3 kids (2 under 4) who are sleeping when I come home from the night shift and this dryer is a life saver! The noise is so little that my kids don’t even flinch in their sleep. It is as just as loud as my dyson vacuum which my new born actually enjoys. The drying time is cut in half and the frizz is non existent. Don’t second guess this dryer. People you deserve this!!

Can't imagine using another dryer

I have been using the supersonic hair dryer for a year, and I couldn't be more in love! I have a mix of curly/wavy hair, and I have been blow drying my hair for about 10 years. I always used professional dryers, but with the heat, my hair was dry and unhealthy over time. I couldn't recognize it anymore. I bought this product as my last try to get my hair back, and it is healthier than ever! The medium heat setting is perfect for me; it leaves my hair sleek, shiny, and with a nice amount of volume. Even in the summer, my hair doesn't get frizzy when I used this blow dryer, which always happened with other dryers. My hair is well moisturized and healthy. I attribute all of that to the technology and the ability of this dryer to use less heat for better results. Lastly, I wouldn't say I experienced major time savings with this dryer. I save 10-15 minutes per blowout, but I do not finish in half the time.

Hello Joanna, this is Kelly with Dyson. The problem you are describing with your Dyson Supersonic overheating and shutting off sounds very usual. We would certainly not expect your machine to shut off without the power button being engaged. One tip I can recommend would be ensuring the filter inlet area is not covered by your hand while using Dyson Supersonic, as well as that the filter remain clean through regular routine maintenance. Please also note that, if Dyson Supersonic is purchased new and from an authorized retailer, Dyson does back your machine with a free 2-year guarantee. I am a hairstylist and have been looking at getting this dryer since it came out. I finally purchased it. So far hands down this is a really good dryer. I'm still testing it out but love it so far.
