Obsessed with this Blowdryer but…

I absolutely love my Dyson! It Blowdry faster, smooths out beautiful, it’s quiet! I can talk to my clients while blow drying. The features are easy to use. But, when it overheats it’s turns off. Which is great in theory, but this is my 2nd dryer that I’ve gone through. It will turn on and then immediately off. Dyson needs to figure out how to create a blow dryer that will last years, not just a few months. Definitely need to get the warranty.

Lightweight and powerful

It took me a week to get used to using the dryer but now I love it. It has strong output, even on the low setting, so my hair got tangled at first. My hair is fine with medium thickness, but after practice with the magnetic (genius!) attachments I love the result. Dry time is significantly reduced and the blowout seems to last longer which is a big plus. The dryer is lightweight and quiet compared to a standard dryer - also a bonus. It is expensive but I am very pleased with the product.

The Supersonic possesses the expected Dyson design excellence, and is the best hair dryer I've used besides. As the blurb says, it dries quickly (which helps avoid frizzies) while avoiding the use of high heat. Glad I finally indulged!

I’ve seen this hair dryer for years and never really bought into the hype. My mom got one 2 years ago and liked it but no raves. I finally caved and borrowed hers to see what the internet fuss was all about…
OMG!! My blowout had amazing volume, and frankly, I looked like I just walked out of the salon! I raved to my mom, and gem that she is, she bought me one in the spot! Each blowout since has been equally as perfect, and in half the time it used to take! Is it pricey..? Yes, but had my mom not bought it fir me, I sure as hell would have gotten it myself!

Fast drying time!

I’ve been wanting to purchase this hairdryer for years, and finally just went for it. I’m so happy I did! I have very thick, wavy hair that takes forever to dry with a normal hairdryer, and the dyson has been a game changer. It drastically cut down on my drying time, making me want to style my hair more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It sure what the hype it about, I bought this as I have thick curly hair and it does not help with frizz at all. It is just a hair dryer. I wish I did not purchase it since it is soooooo expensive

You might appreciate that the technology behind Dyson Supersonic is quite revolutionary and it is not like anything you might be used to. It can take some time to get used to the different settings, features and attachments Dyson supersonic provides during your drying session, not to mention your normal way or habit of drying your hair with traditional hair dryers.
While everyone is different, we certainly wouldn't expect hair to become fried or frizzy as a result of using Dyson Supersonic. The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer will feature intelligent heat control, which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. This helps prevent extreme heat damage and protects hair's natural shine. It also will feature negative ions to help prevent hair from becoming frizzy. One quick tip I would recommend, as outlined in our Dyson Supersonic support videos, will be using the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair, this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. Please also note that each heat and airflow setting is designed to provide varying outcomes depending on the style you have in mind for any particular drying session.

Best thing I’ve purchased!!!!

Girl I could you not I have reallllly thick hair and when I tell you it usually takes me 20-25 min to dry my hair completely with a regular dryer but with my dyson it takes me 10 min!!! Yes 10 minutes!!!
I’m so happy and always excited to dry my hair now ever since I got my dyson. If you need a sign about buying a dyson hair dryer then this is your sign to get one.
