First of all it looks very expensive in this color combo. Second it dries my hair extremely fast compared to traditional blow dryers. Definitely worth the money. Some may disagree but this truly is an amazing product.

This piece of expensive hair care equipment is well worth the significant price tag. I waited a long time before committing to the expense, I watched countless review videos, and I did extensive comparison research with other hair dryers. When my Dyson arrived after a lengthy delay I was pleased with its performance. I’m so glad I finally got it. I absolutely adore the fly away attachment, but honestly all the attachments are great and useful. I absolutely recommend this dryer!

This blow dryer definitely outshines the rest! It dries hair so quickly, leaving hair shiny and soft! It’s also quiet which is a huge bonus in the salon! Best quality I’ve ever tried for the salon!!

Perfect for thick Curly, long hair !

I have been procrastinating about purchasing this for the past two years and a week ago I finally decided to get one and I’m so glad I did ! I am still learning how to use it but I love that it has a setting where you don’t have to use a lot of heat at all , and without compromising “blow factor “. I don’t know how to describe this little machine but you can see the technology that goes into it . There are many different features and combinations for your unique hair type .
The attachments are incredible. I always suffer from frizzy hair as my natural hair is curly and the flyaway attachment works !! I was literally talking to it in the mirror , saying “no way !”
If you are like me and have to save for these items , please don’t be afraid to take a chance on this! I am positive no matter what your hair type is , you will be blown away (almost literally) at what this can do !
Oh , and feeling even more fancy , when you register your product , you get to see it on screen and there is a wealth of information about it, even with videos !
I am still getting to know this hair dryer , but so far l love it ! I can’t recommend it enough !

Makes hair so tangled!

Debating if I should return it. I like how fast it dries but it puts so many tangles in my hair! My hair is very long so I bought this because it takes a long time for my hair to dry. But the extreme amount of tangles it puts in my hair seems to actually make it take longer than my other hair dryer due to the time it takes to deal with the tangles all throughout blow drying. It’s not just a little tangled, it is like knots in my hair that won’t come out unless you pull hair out or cut the knots out. I guess this hairdryer is made for shorter hair?

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you've run in to some tangling issues while using your Dyson Supersonic™. There are a few different things you can do to change the method in which you dry your hair. To begin with the unit is designed with a type of thermal control which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair; this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. In light of this, it may be necessary to use the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When applying these tips to your everyday styling you should start to see a difference in the texture of your hair.

Received as a birthday gift from my children, fantastic. Dries quick and so lightweight and easy to use. Attachments are great, definitely recommend, costly but worth it.

No more "old lady hair"

After 20 years of the same Dyson vacuum cleaner, I figured the hairdryer would be a safe bet, and boy was I right! My hair is over-processed, and I have what I like to call "old lady hair," so I need to make my crowning glory appear to be just that- a crowning glory!
The Dyson Supersonic hairdryer has not let me down - I have a super-straight shoulder-length bob made with shiny, glossy hair. I don't have to cringe anymore when I see myself on a zoom call. So thank you, Dyson, for helping me stay ahead of the game and giving me the gift of youthful locks.
