Replacement for a similar item that lasted five years, which I understand is much longer than the average. The new one seems to be much quieter and easier to handle. It is more lightweight and does not have that bulky attachment to the cord.

Dryer works well, and cuts my drying time in half. I have long and thick hair. I love the styling tools but still figuring out how to use them, my only complaint is the weight. The cord is heavy and it is hard to store.

I love everything about this dryer except for the thick heavy cord and the rectangular part on the cord. It dries my hair beautifully and I love the convenient cold air button. It has 3 buttons for heat control which is great because my hair is very fragile and needs the lower heat. It also has 3 levels for the blower. I have never used attachments on a blow dryer but I love how easy it is to change these out. Love it!
