Great, fast drying hair dryer, with a consistent heat output. Reasonably long cable to connect to the mains electricity, too.

Not worth the hype

I have thin hair, it dried it fast but it was straw like appearance. Tried out the fly away tool, it worked but as soon as I got my day going the hair was again all with fly aways. Returned it because it is not that much better than the one I own. It is not worth the price tag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While everyone is different, we certainly wouldn't expect hair to take on a straw-like texture as a result of using Dyson Supersonic. The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer will feature intelligent heat control, which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. This helps prevent extreme heat damage and protects hair's natural shine. It also will feature negative ions to help prevent hair from becoming frizzy.

I have very fine hair and also not a lot of it. Everyone thought I wasted money since my hair usually dries extremely fast even without blow drying. But this hair dryer left my hair soft rather than brittle (which is how it usually feels after I blow dry). The flyaways attachment is amazing and my favorite. It’s you’re on the fence, I would take the leap and invest in one.

I have curly hair (3a/3b texture) and this hairdryer is incredible!! I was able to dry my hair using the diffuser attachment without my hair frizzing up too much. I appreciate having a variety of heat settings to choose from as well so that I don't damage my curls.

Buy it! Dried my hair fresh out of the shower in 5 minutes!! (My hair almost reaches my butt and is fairly thick) expensive, but you get what you pay for. Looks so pretty on my vanity as well :)
